Pearl Wilson: Assistant: Can you tell me more about what's going on?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: When I turn the machine on it goes for a couple of minutes then an F1 error comes up
Pearl Wilson: Assistant: Is there anything else the Expert should be aware of?
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: only that I’m not an Expert lol
Paddy: Engineer: Hi - Welcome to JustAnswer I’m Paddy and I will be your technician.
Paddy: Engineer: The error code relates to a leak being detected & triggered the appliance leak protection, the float switch in the base may have been activated from excess water or moisture in the pan to the bottom of your dishwasher.
Paddy: Engineer: If there are not any obvious leaks it may have been a one off leak from the door seal, to reset the float switch follow the steps below.
Paddy: Engineer: Firstly remove the plug from the socket or switch off your breaker Pull the dishwasher out from underneath the counter Place absorbent cloths/towels down to soak up excess water Gently tilt the appliance backwards appropriately 45 degrees Allow to dry for a period Reconnect to the power hopefully your washer will now operate normally.
Paddy: Engineer: I hope this helps Paddy
JustAnswer Customer from San Antonio, TX: Thanks paddy.
