Man I just love your presentation style. Absolutely no pretense, just a genuine love of toys! I wasn't a big Care Bears guy, but if I had a favorite it would probably be Grumpy or the green one...Shamrock? Or was it more simple like Good Luck Bear?

Glad you found a toy you really wanted but was never able to acquire. I have a similar "Grail" find. I was out toy hunting in my state and went to one of my absolute favorite vintage toy shops. As I walked in the owner was literally wiping dust off of this particular item he had just purchased. It was Blues Thunder. I think I actually made him laugh as my jaw just dropped we started talking about it and how I had been looking for that for close to a decade. And I told him how yeah I see ones on eBay here in there, but I wanted to find it in the wild. And there it is, and I sheepishly asked if it was for sale he smiled he said yeah. I asked him how much he told me, I said it's sold. We talked a little more about it, he asked if I was planning to I take the old misplaced stickers off. I said no I love it the way it is. It's sitting proudly in my toy room now.

I was born in 86 so I kinda hit the sweet spot between 90s and 80s toys and the kicker is my grandfather collected and sold old toys which means everything from a point which toys were home made all the way up to modern day and watching ur channel really brings me back to a time I remember fondly:) off topic but kinda cool my dad saved every happy meal toy me and my sister had gotten and most of them are still in the plastic bag they came in and when ever I'm In a crummy mood I dig thru the happy meal toy box and it works as a fantastic anti depressant... keep up the good work and doing your thing it's making a rad space on KZitem and I think we all need that cheerful bit of nostalgic happiness to get us thru the day... :)

That is soooooooo awesome!!! My grandfather was a collector per say, but he kept some of his wooden toys, and my father's toys as well. Always had a blast visiting him and playing with the decades worth of toys. Still think my favorite was just these ancient wooden blocks that had these ornate designs, letters, and pictures on them. Loved building bases for my Joes and Star Wars figures. That's fantastic about the happy meal toys and having an outlet to decompress will reconnecting with your childhood. Thanks for sharing and watching!!

Don’t be embarrassed about it. I’m also a 46yr old man that loves Grumpy Bear. My parents couldn’t afford to buy the plush when I was a kid, so Mom made one for me. He needs repairs, but I still have that same one.

KZitem suggested your channel and I was iffy on the whole carebear stuff but your photos at the end sold it. Subbed and liked. I always appreciate smaller KZitem channels like this. They have heart where others that are larger just seem so mechanized. I know they are going to be covering the latest releases of toys in sync basically where as this is truly someone showing off their passion. Never stop never stopping man.

My boys and I have crossover worlds, but it’s generally all 6” figures. Classified, Valaverse, Marvel legends, and Star Wars black all work together. I find various empire troopers for cheap all the time, and they make great additions to badguy armies. I try to convince the boys that he man and tmnt could fit too, but that’s just a bridge too far for them. Congrats on grumpy. I loved him when I was copping. I called day shift the care bear shift, and they called me grumpy bear or “don’t give a shit bear”.

@@MySideoftheLaundryRoom I had some help from Gunpla (a partial portmanteau of "Gundam" and "plastic," as in "Gundam Plastic Model Kits) and Bandai's "30 Minute Sisters" line. I'm even doing some customs from the MOTU "Masterverse" line for some villain OCs... while also keeping a few of those pristine, like my Moss-Man, King Grayskull, He-Ro and Galactic Protector He-Man.
