Gratefulness? What language are you butchering? You can make an abstract noun out of any adjective, I suppose, but there is already an ACTUAL word for it: Gratitude. That's assuming you're talking about the customer. If you're talking about the stylist's talent... then you are not speaking English! SMH Americans are just getting more stupid every day.

I gotta hand it to you- blending block graduation into a receding hairline, fading into the block graduation, and tapering in the small area that's left to work in is a TALL order for any hairstylist. Thank you so much for posting. I learned alot. Do I want this client in my chair? NO! But thanks to you I know how to do this confounding haircut.

I'm not a fan of this type of cut anyway but this guys face shape and back of his head isn't right for it at all. The bone at the back of his head sticks out too far for a short style the cut accentuated it massively and his face is just too long and narrow to have no hair on the sides and back of his head. Should of gone for a classic side parting with no fade would of suited him much more than this cut.

Quality cut as usual and dan delivers what he asked for. Personally I think he looked & would look better with longer hair maybe not down to trimmers on sides or bit shorter fringe. I get what people saying bit of a bowl cut , just just a heavy choppy fringe crop really like he said been around for ages and will always be.
@frankrossi30

Great cut! In answer to a 35 y/o rockin that style? I'm gonna say yes, (even a dad with a dog). In my opinion what makes style successful is confidence. I could see this cut, a lot shorter and heavily broken up through the fringe on a 50y/o with a beard. Adaptation to the individual rather than age limit. Mullet dressed as lamb is fine by me, except when it's a skullet!

Although the execution of this cut was fantastic I think the longer style suited his face much better. Having a skin fade on the side while also keeping length on top just accentuated his already long, narrow face. His out-turned ears look even more prominent and his head looks like a peanut. He needed that volume on the sides to camouflage these features.

I asked for this cut and my barber cut way too much off the sides; my hair is straight and thick so it sticks out more on the sides. Instead of her cutting lower to keep weight on the top she cut straight up to try to "shape it" and made it look like shit
@MG63
2 жыл бұрын
Excellent haircut. His occipital bone suits this fade perfectly, as it enables the perfect graduation up the back of the head. Flat heads at the back can sometimes make graduations more difficult if the client wants to achieve a very short graduated type hairstyle. Top marks Dan.

So these video tutorial haircuts are free of charge cos you’re posting them on KZitem ? How long after applying would you slot them in for a haircut , are yous quite jam packed with applicants ??
@RegalGentleman
2 жыл бұрын
Correct, they're free! We've been working on more of a first come first served basis, and have a LOT of applicants, so it's very hard to get people in with a huge backlog. We've finished all of our filming now for this year, but from next year we'll be leveling it out, by allowing you to apply for each filming slot when they become available, so that everyone gets an equal chance of getting a slot. We'll have more on this coming soon!

@vlcheish

The haircut is executed well though its not the most ideal cut for framing his face. My main issue with this cut on him is that his occipital bone sticks out too much from the side profile 26:10 and from the front it tends to make his very slender face look too tall. I get it that it's what the client asked but I am strictly speaking from a looksmax view point based on his facial structure it's not ideal. Ideally he would have left length on the sides to frame his face and I think some cool looks could have been explored. Either way the cut is well done.
@vlcheish
2 жыл бұрын
EDIT -- I made this response to somone and they delete their comment so it looks like I am talking to myself lmao @UC6CbSEoRF5X_nshaDnt7rGg I'm not even saying he should have 'long' hair, I'm saying it needs to be long enough to help frame his face and skull a little bit meaning the high skin fade is accentuating some features that should not be accentuated like the occipital bone and it makes his face too narrow. You want more weight on the sides to balance out the face. The cut doesn't look terrible but it's also not ideal.....crop tops with skin fades are hard to pull off well for most men because you need certain facial/skull structure. Also ask your friend to look up a picture of Adam Driver with a buzz cut and honestly ask if he/she thinks he looks better with that or longer hair. Note this guy has some similar features to Adam who became a bit of a sex symbol with long hair.
