The deer you encountered were almost tame like pets. In the wild, deer are generally afraid of humans. They can be dangerous. The hoves are sharp and these animals are much stronger than most people imagine. Where I lived for the majority of my life in the northeast USA, deer frequently get hit by automobiles. A lot of damage to the car. Sometimes, the deer will roll over the hood (bonnet) of the automobile, crash through the glass windshield and become a danger to the occupants. The animal will thrash around, and people often get hurt by those hard and pointed hooves. Always remember that "Bambi" is a wild animal, we need to respect that and keep a safe distance.
