I fished off the Gulf of Mexico at the H T Stone Memorial State Park and Cape San Blas and had a great fishing trip catching Whitings and a 6’4” Dusky shark. One of the memorable trips of my life so far !! Thanks for the video.

I rented a condo in florida a few years back, I can't speak about Fred, but we had a neighborhood bird named Lolita. She looked a lot like fred. She ate my shrimp too.

The saying goes,, you can't catch 'em if you're line ain't in the water! But it helps if you got fish in the water to catch! For us here,, we should start seeing some kingfish showing up in the next few weeks! Can't wait! On the days you can't get out to fish, maybe you could do some instructional videos,,, how to tie different kinds of rigs, rod and reel maintenance, tying knots,,,

This is awesome! I’ve caught fish before in Fresh water, but never THAT big before. Good Times for sure. I live in Upstate New Yuck, but seriously thinking about moving to Texas and I’ve heard that even the fish are big down there. Cant wait. Thanks for the video😁

Thank you for this video. It reminds me when I used to surf fish starting from 4am to 11am at Redondo and Santa Monica beach every weekend. That was 14 years ago and now I am living in the Philippines and the beach is nowhere close to where I live. Btw, we called those Corvina in Cali if that's what they are.

They were a couple really nice black drum and a nice whiting too. Way to stick with it. Most people would have given up after the first 3 hours with no fish, lol.

I used to catch 50 lb black drum on cracked crab at empire canal jetties in March. I miss fishing Port Sulphur, La.

Ive fished with just about everything but I've had far more luck using the midsection of small fish and squid. I should switch up my bait more like you did just to see.

Catfishing is the same thing. It can be hours before the bite turns on. I've started at 9pm and the bite could take 3-4 hours, but you'll be happy when it hits. 👍

Bama, look into Diet Pepsi shrimp for bait. Shrimp fermented in Diet Pepsi seems to be far more effective than plain shrimp and stays on hook much better.
