Your question about style. Which depends on several things. 1. where we're at with beta: if say were in a slow period for updates, you just want a sample of where we're at, which is likely a little better than the last vids. If like now we are getting used to a new version then I like as much as I can get of any style. 2. where am I at with my brain: If i'm tired, watching a drive an letting my own thoughts mingle with the things in the drive is relaxing. Earlier in the day, something with a bit of tempo like this help to get me more awake. 2a. How full my head is, if I'm working on something that is occupying most of my thinking, I'm not going to be able to take in half of something like The Limiting Factor, with high level condensed info. So in summery, it depends. We are all unique and you will Never please everyone. I recommend to all artists, to be quite selfish and do what they would want, if others like it cool if not no worries. This is because of our uniqueness. If everyone make what they uniquely think is good, then we would have a greater diversity of content and style. _Elon built the Model S for himself._ So my recommendation is to be yourself and do what you want, particular if it gives you joy. ;)

Keep up the great work! IMHO you've found the perfect way to document FSD Beta: 1. The visualization overlay 2. The voiceover commentary - so much more effective than in-car narration at giving us context and pointing out what to look for in each scene 3. The external camera - great context view w/o the limitations of using a drone 4. Yes, the steering wheel marker was well worth your effort as it helps convey part of how smooth (or not) the drive feels Back before my first FSD Beta download, I used to watch everyone's videos. Now (especially as I await v11) it's pretty much just you and maybe Chuck... But I do imagine it must be hard to drive all the time in that helmet. 😁

Re: Enhanced AP is Enough for Road Trips. Don’t fret too much if you’re not updated. I had 4 strikes when heading the ‘22 MYLR out to the Austin Stampede from SoCal & actually turned back after getting suspended during my 3+ hour first (waaay too exhausting) segment. Fortunately the sun came up & bc enhanced AP still worked, sight seeing allowed me to pick up the 100s of sq miles of deployed & staging solar arrays going out to the horizon north of I-20. Bc that’s all I needed to safely make the drive, I ended up flipping around & glad I did! My biggest revelation was how you can keep the battery at optimum temps in freezing temps. While playing (EAP set to 75-90, floor it to speed, regen back to cruise, repeat) with max speeds on back canyon straights (once hit the limiter going past 140 on a long downhill), at the next charging stop I was amazed to see that my actual range was well above what Nav estimated. Also, no energy went into preconditioning, so all that heavy “pulse/regen” driving (like the milder mode that Prius taught me) actually got me further & quicker (just say’n, not recommended). Big caution: passed 5’ to the right of a deer standing just beyond a rise, going 75, so backed waaay down ahead of down hills!

Overall, VERY impressive re feeling solid and smooth. I was super impressed with those nasty left turns, re difficult visibility with the caution, the creeping, the patience, and the handling of the entire turn. It seemed exactly like a GOOD human driver, just like for "Chuck Cook's turn", where I'd ALWAYS just bail, turn right, and look for a good place to SAFELY turn around, if there were much traffic at such a turn. (Where I lived for 3+ decades near a crowded freeway / business area, I saw BAZILLION accidents with impatient/stupid people, which makes me cautious about lefts in such places).

Consider adding a "G-force meter" like they do in those racing videos to communicate the feel of the car. Also, add a reference circle around 0.5g (?) so that we know any acceleration below that threshold is considered comfortable. According to GPT-4 "In general, most people can comfortably tolerate lateral accelerations of up to 0.5 g in normal driving conditions". Perhaps put a circle (or oval) threshold around what you think feels comfortable. I mentioned oval since you might tolerate higher forward/backward acceleration than lateral acceleration. Note that comfort is also a measure of smoothness (the car can giggle the wheel within 0.5g, and that would be considered uncomfortable) so there are probably other measures you want to show.

Wow thanks for your video on 11.3. I got my FSD taken away for being an idiot. Last Week I did a 800 mile road trip from SF to LA and back to see my son’s new baby.. Thanks to Autopilot, coming home was safe especially from the heavy rain. Fortunately i could make left and right turns on autopilot auto steer lane change. With the flick of the turn signal my car automatically made the turn in heavy rain only if their were no cars in the lane I wanted. Once the lane was cleared, my car smoothly move into the selected lane. When visibility is that bad it was a life savior to make lane changes in the heavy rain.. Yes I will get my FSD again once 11.3 is installed. My safety score is 95 prior to the 800 mile road trip. I am not a bad driver. FSD is very non forgiving when I interrupt FSD. I am no slouch as a driver. I raced at Sears Point Raceway and Laguna Sega and set the lap record on both track. The trick is to be consistent and to take the largest radius on each turns. That what race car drivers do to get the best qualifying lap time. Another way to think about “The Racer Line”, its the longest path on the race track yet the fastest. I was a good driver, cause I could make the turn into a road corner exactly each time. Like the olympic and the Luge racer. When they make a wrong move, the speed of their cart goes slower. This is the same for all racers on the track. My fastest lap record are saved on the archive in 1978 under Bill Woo or William Woo at SCCA. Sports Car Club of America.Showroom Stock C, my previous car was a DAtsun 510 B-sedan Yes I felt safe on the entire trip. I wasn’t even tired. when car was driving itself, I could do a stretch. So helpful on a long drive.

22:49 Both lane changes were illegal though. There is a mandatory 100 feet before turning, which it didn't do for the first change. This is actually required for each lane change, meaning you can't double lane change in one go, and the 'smoothness' of a double-change is also illegal. Additionally the second lane change even crossed across a solid line, so doubly illegal.

Follow your gut with your content form! I really enjoy your videos, and using a "one size fits all" method for the videos may not work and that's ok :)! I was hoping when I clicked on this video specifically that we would see the whole drive. This is the first real v11 video from you and the info is appreciated! But probably unnecessary for future drives without major changes. The line on the steering wheel is also noticed. I always wondered why more people doing these FSD videos didn't copy this. Seems like such an easy concept! (Except for the sewing...)

I prefer the full ride, fast forward the less interesting parts as you did. I love to be able to see the white band move to understand how the wheel is moving.
