When I was 16 I became pregnant and my family turned me out and turned their backs on me. I was living in a car and just not in a good situation to raise a baby so I made the insanely difficult choice to put him up for adoption. Well, a few days ago SHE finally found me!!!! I couldn’t find her because I was searching for her birth name which of course was too much of a boy name and didn’t fit her now. She is beautiful!!!! I’ve always been an ally to the LGBT community but now I’m a proud mom of a trans girl. Unfortunately her parents haven’t been very understanding but she’s glad to know I’m in her corner. Edit: Thank you all for your wonderful messages and support. I’ve been on cloud 9 since she found me!

People actually there say a well known latina lesbian threw the first brick sparking the violence. She also died early before the pride we know today. Just some months ago I came out as bisexual to my best friends. First they where shock but then they supported me and never treated me differently for who I am, I felt so relieved and happy that I had those people in my life. Of course the main question was “how do you know your bisexual?” Because I’m just 12 years old, but I was like “I can be able to feel love for both genders”. I am waiting the right time to tell my parents, but we are always open to the sexuality topic and my mom said that if me or my brothers would come out she will support us. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

You know, I’ve always been a bit sceptical about names... in the sense that, what the hell, labelling is at times not even accurate to define someone’s sexual orientation... I mean, let’s just love who we want without having to take names as if we were object of a scientific research... no hate obviously, it’s just my point of view. I hate the fact that every time people ask me if I’m heterosexual or not I explain my situation and people don’t understand because I don’t fit in one of those labels nor do I want to...

I HATE when people call people "HE" when they are a trans woman. FIRST OF ALL, we only knew you as a she anyway so this was easy for us. When Bruce Jenner transitioned, people insisted on calling her "him" and I'm not even in the LGBTQ+ community and it works my flippin nerves. I get called trans all the time because I am a tall, beautiful woman with a brain, so they think it's an insult but, like you said, that mess tolls off your back. It rolls of my back because people call me a man when I kill them in a debate and they run out of material. So I laugh because men stay in my face and I think I'm gorgeous without that. It also might mean that I'm too good to be true. So hey. But they need to stop being ignorant. I hate it.

When ppl try to invalidate trans ppl by saying "God made you the way you were born and that's it," I remind them that we aren't born w/dyed hair, pierced ears, tattoos, makeup, or clothes either. These things are ways we express our outer selves to the world. Trans ppl are expressing who they feel they are inside in the exact same way. And scene. PERIOD.

She was so excepting and kind, even invited my gf over during trips. She never cared about my who I liked as long as it was a healthy happy relationship. She was beyond mad when I dropped out of high school a decade ago though lol. Once I got older I realized I was straight, but my ex gf and I are bff's still after all these years. Absolutely love the look! I came out to my parents as trans three days ago with my sister (she knew) by my side, and they basically went "lol yeah we knew". It was nice, but I found myself getting impatient already with the misgendering screw ups and all that, so you mentioning how we have to be patient and give time to process reminded me that I need to give them time even though I want to keep moving forward. It's so easy to feel like it's been FOREVER (been in the closet for almost 10 years), but I have to remind myself that they've been using she/her pronouns for me for the last 21 years of my life, so it's going to need time. I'm glad that they're supportive of my, and I'm glad that you were also blessed with a supportive family (for the most part). Thank you for that bit of advice.

Hi dear. What parents can do is to openly support all sexualities in front of their children so they know you are favorably disposed towards the matter. Also, if possible, teach them from a young age to respect all sexualities and always ask them if they like someone, or a person, instead of their opposite gender so you don’t restrict their sexuality to the opposite gender.

I actually had my daughter come out this past year, I pretty much already knew but had to wait for her to do it in her own time. Beginning of the month I actually texted her to let her know that she had something in common with Nikkie...She is celebrating her first Pride month out with Nikkie. She thought that was something really cool. I also have a Niece and her Wife, and a couple of good friends that are all part of the Rainbow Family. I am a strong outspoken Ally of the Family! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

I came out twice (once as a gay man, and once as a trans woman) and neither of which were on my time. I was forced to come out both times. This part of your story Nikkie hits home real hard. Thank you for being so open! You’re an icon and a legend my dear! Much love!!!

I can't even begin to imagine how hard the situation was when you were blackmailed into coming out, but now seeing you look back and not being happy with how it happened, but accepting how things went and being able to keep being a thriving queen is proving you are such a great role model because of how you handled the situation. So much love from Texas!

Heyah Woah clockable means that you can tell that’s not their birth sex. For instance, Nikkie is not clockable, she looks like a biological woman!! In her coming out video that was the most common comment “i could’ve never guessed!”

I came out as trans in November 2019 and have been on T for almost a year. I had to cut off my family because of childhood abuse and getting abusive messages constantly from my mother in particular. It's been like 3 years now and I'm so much happier. I was never accepted for not being straight, I didn't think they would ever condone my name change or pronouns. But my trans gf and all my friends (irl and online) have been absolutely amazing and supportive. The family we make is often what matters more than the blood ties we have. 💛🤍💜🖤 Love out there for my fellow enbies and trans siblings 💙💗🤍💗💙
