I'm just confused as to why it's called Camp _Rock_ because nothing about it seems to suggest rock? Or punk? Or metal? Or emo? Or any other related genre of music? It's just pop, from what was shown. Like. Why name it Camp Rock if you don't show the rock part? Actually, that wouldn't be a half bad idea for a movie,,, have like, a sorta stuck-up, preppy kid be forced to go to Camp Rock over the summer while their parents have to go off for something, and the camp is all punk rockers, metal heads, and other assorted scene kids. Over the course of the movie, the protagonist starts making friends with these "freaks" and "weirdos", and learns what the scene is really about.
