I am so happy that I found your channel. No sensationalism, just great information, shown in images that tell the story in a very professional and poetic way. Love it! 谢谢!

That older man who helped you get to the first fortress was so sweet. I love how excited he was to show you!! My state here in the US obviously doesn't have anything as ancient as China does, but I've had experiences where I've gone to towns looking for older buildings only to be met with very stony silence, lmao.

What a fascinating time it must be to in China right now, with modern China steamrolling everything and dedicated people like you working to document whatever is left of ancient China. In my neck of the woods precious little has been preserved and that is a shame. People deserve a history and saving places like these helps build local pride.

Thank you very much for showing this original footage of the old fortresses. It's just so wonderful and amazing how people adapted and improvised on their natural surroundings to protect themselves and their families and to keep away from harm. Much ❤ from Malaysia.

There's a remarkable similarity to some of the ancient pre-Columbian ruins in the southwest of the USA, for example Montezuma's Castle in Arizona.

I've seen such ruins in mighty Shandong. It makes a person wonder what happened there so many years ago. Those people were basically like us, wanting peace and security in life for their families and themselves. 5,000 years of history leaves a lot of artifacts. Interesting!
