If you remember, it has been the land of Mongols north the Great Wall. After the fall of the Manchurian Qing State, the Mongols in these lands remained under the control of China. They are Mongolians with more population than Mongolia. In the medieval history of Mongolia, there are 6 groups of Mongols, and 5 groups of Mongols are the Mongols in China. Of course, Mongolians live everywhere in the world, but unlike others, this is the native land where Mongolians have lived for thousands of years. They have a land just like the American Indians.

You could stand on the land of Inner Mongolia and say these words to the Mongolian people. See if they don't take offense. In China's history, there was an era ruled by the Mongols known as the 'Yuan Dynasty,' which means the Mongols are indeed part of the Chinese nation. Regarding the Qing Dynasty you mentioned, the Manchus and Mongols were closely intertwined; the Mongolian nobles married genuine Manchu princesses. So, how absurd your statements are!

The Great Wall is the border of the two countries, according to the treaty between the Huns and the Han. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumu_Crisis After 500,000 Chinese troops were defeated by 20,000 Mongol troops at the Battle of Tumu, the Great Wall was built again. When the current Russians were called Kievan Rus /vikings/ en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kievan_Rus%27, they were occupied by the Mongol Bat Khan. Bat Khan's adopted son, Alexander Nevsky, became the governor of Moscow, and he collected taxes from all Russia and gave them to the Mongol king. That is why Moscow became the most powerful city. Thx for the video. Very interesting. I my self only been in inner-mongolian once, long ago. I hope I get chance to do it again. LONG PA :) Many seem very confused about the great wall and Mongolia, there werent russia or russians for like 1500years when it was build, and Mongolian wasnt really there either, it was mainly build against other Nomadic tribes, like XiongNu(Mongolian arent descendent of Xiongnu, as far as we know for now. Huns maybe). Also ppl keep forgetting Mongolian empire was very different then most empire on earth, in its base its still very much Nomads, the great Khan while rule over vast landmass, he didnt actually rule them him self. Most of the time the local leader just surrendered and pay tributes, and sent army to help Mongolian empire's own army when been call for(like Yuan invasion of Japan, was done almost entirely by Han-chinese from the late Song-Dynasty and Korean navy). Its main reason, why after death of the Great Khan, mongolian empire fall as fast as it rised. His son, like one established Yuan-dynasty, actually are the one that made of "mongolian empire(s)", but by that point one can say there is quite few mongolian empire. Similar case with Mongolian empire, would be the Alexander the great's empire. These two great general are very much military genius, but not really good at building empires(that last), compare to Rome,Han,British,Russia or Ottoman etc...

It is sometimes ridiculous to read some comments that Chinese people trying to claim Mongols as Chinese. Although we have some parts now belong to Russia and China we still are very separate country with our own identity and race genetically speaking. Those are the Mongol people who are by blood and culture.

@francol3731
2 ай бұрын
China has never been a single-ethnic country since ancient times. Throughout history, whenever a new ethnic group joined China, they would retain their own ethnic culture while learning the Han culture. Even though many rulers in history were not of the Han ethnicity, the operation of the entire country still followed the Han way. Perhaps only Asians can understand this. After all, it is the same in other parts of Asia, where various ethnic groups combine to form one country after another.
@TemuulTK
2 ай бұрын
@@francol3731 Yes that is true but when we talk about Chinese history it is a big part Mongolian history. Even Manchu people are actually Mongolian people! They originated from Siberia nomadic Mongol people. Essentially during Mongol dynasty the Mongols literally fought and destroyed each other since the kingdom was big and Mongol ethnic groups wanted to keep their own distinct unique ways like Kazakhs, Buryats and Khalkss etc... unlike China which mostly are Han people. However, I am as a Mongolian person very aware of the historic ties between our countries like China, Mongolia and Russia. These countries have crossed cultures, people are also some what mixed and perhaps its time to accept this fact and get on with each other. No one is superior than the other specially now.
@TemuulTK
2 ай бұрын
@@francol3731 Of course not but historically speaking most of these ethnic groups belonged to China from the very beginning although they have their tribal difference. Just like Mongolia the Central Asian Nomads have always been same people although there are some distinctions between the tribal groups. For instance like Kazakhs or Buryats they are both Mongols but they have their distinct differences in terms of clothing, dance, music etc... but ethnically we are same people! However, when it comes to Mongol and Uighur people etc... we are literally different different ethnic, people come from different areas of Asia and genetically we are also distinct than Chinese. I mean you won't claim Russia is China right? The same principle applies to Mongolia and its people because we aren't Chinese. Within Russia there are many Mongols living as well but they still identify as Mongol not Russian. They say they are Union people but never identify as Russian. We are different that is all. Perhaps Chinese Republic people but not Chinese! China is a separate country that is aligned with the Han Chinese people who originated from the Yellow river! Sino people! That is the country's identity and rightfully so! Perhaps you don't clearly identify the ethnicity and tribal differences.

Explain why? This video is a fairly good balance of what you'd find as a typical tourist in a city like this. There is more infrastructure than needed, it's a little gloomy, it has federally mandated ethnic writing, there are few shoppers, its actually a lot cleaner than most similar Chinese cities and this is explained too. There is no shilling about how 'The West' can't build parks or statues like this or pretending a water-pump bike is 'making the USA jealous' etc.

@@theasianjaywalker4455 Hi @theasianjaywalker. Sorry. Maybe you missed the joke. Do you know the “Free China” channel? Are you a frequent viewer of Chopsticks and Trains? If you answered yes to both questions, maybe I made a stupid joke that nobody but me understands.

Its false importation by Chinese people that saying our Great warriors grave is in Inner Mongolia, it’s actually not not yet discovered
