If you want to hear YES take in Jon Anderson and the Paul Green Rock Academy (US Tour). I saw them the other night and it was awesome. Jon is singing better than ever and these mostly high school students were killing it. All three bass players were better than Sherwood. They were nailing Chris's basslines, especially Heart of the Sunrise and Roundabout.

Dreadful vocals and a totally non cohesive backing. Yes tribute bands like Awaken and Total Mass Retain wipe the floor with this lot. This is not Yes by any stretch of the imagination.

Sorry guys, I can't agree. I've been a Yes addict all my life and have been to many a gig but sadly this performance disappointed me. Davisons' vocal were poor on some occasions and Downes' keyboards weren't 'showing' in the mix. Howe was, however, in sublime form - a master craftsman but for him I would have been totally disappointed.

@@sabian5393 I went to about 10 concerts in my life, and so I'm happy with this! I know probably the show could have been better but I still seen one of my favourite bands.

@@sabian5393 : I was there too. Howe was on top form, no doubt about that. Jay Schellen hit all the right skins at the right times but his drum sound was too loud in the mix and tended to over power his bandmates quite a lot of the time. Geoff Downes, I thought he did ok but he could have done better when he tackled that iconic Wakeman solo during Close To The Edge. Jon Davison's vocals, for the most part were not too bad but he definitely faltered several times. It's clear that he's no Jon Anderson (you're talking English Premier League, Anderson v English Football League One, Davison. Just for the sake of it I put on Glass Hammer's album "IF" today and played it right through. Davison was brilliant on it but as I said, he's not Jon Anderson). Billy Sherwood was the standout performer in Dublin. His performance was such that you could nearly be forgiven for thinking that Chris Squire was actually on stage! But, then again why would that be surprising because Sherwood and Squire were close friends, colleagues and confidants and Sherwood has been associated with YES for 30 years as touring musician, producer, composer and full band member at different times and sometimes all together! Overall, I definitely did enjoy this gig. There was just enough there to convince me that now, in 2022, this is YES.

YES used to spend an incredible amount of money on stage production. Lights, sound, special effects, etc. Where's the money going Steve? The big screens behind the band SUCK!! Where's the originality? YES were the pioneers of the stage show. This is just sad!😥😢😭

Jon Davison must be sick and tired trying to be Jon Anderson and failing badly. There’s no light or shade in his voice. He makes every song sound the same. Check out Yes tribute band AWAKEN. A hundred times better than this sorry mess.

Steve Howe should not be using the name Yes. Do what Steve Hackett does it would be it would be much better received.
