Here's a video where I revisit an old short film and give you guys all of the good stuff I learned. Hope you like it! The music in this video: / @soul-academy www.beatstars.com/soulacademy...

Using a blue screen would also be an option to get rid of that nasty spill. Overall amazing work man! Really inspiring!
@TruthSurge
Жыл бұрын
3:09 you have to move away farther from the green screen and then light yourself MORE with 2 or 3 lights. That'll reduce the spill b4 trying to key it all. I think.
@AlbinThorburn
11 ай бұрын
Yep that sounds logical to me. Should remove most of the spill I think
@TruthSurge

@AlbinThorburn I have used the keylight 1.2 Plug in with after effects and it is awesome. It can handle the spill And you can set up an amazing green screen with that. Even if you don't film it exactly right. Keep rockin!!!

As far as keying goes, in professional vfx houses everything is rotoscoped. The green background only helps identify what is and isn't background which speeds up the process. In Dune, they used tan-screen to avoid light spill and to project more natural light. Again, it's all hand done with meticulous roto 😭

The result is really convicing, and I didin't even realized that you used eevee, which I avoid because the time spend to get a realistic lighting can be used to render in cycles (unless you have a potato pc), that's why I'm learning Unreal Engine 5 because lumen is like 100 better than eevee and can replace cycles for some environment scene. Anyway the final result is really cool even if it's too bright, so great job dude !
