cj Yes I enjoyed my week in Brum and I've been back a couple of times since. The first time I went for a week was August 2020. With the pandemic it was hard to find a holiday in the uk. So we thought outside the box. I found I could stay at the Premier Inn for £40 a night, that combined with the 50% off eat out to help out deal ment I could live like a king for peanuts. There's plenty to do in Birmingham if you know where to go, here's a few places we went. Sealife centre, the Back to Back houses, Birmingham library (it's the largest library inn Europe), more canals than Venice if you fancy a wall, great views from Pierre Whites restaurant at the top of the Cube hotel. The list goes on. I know it might not be what you would expect for a holiday destination but there's plenty to do for a week away.

Danny - I am concerned that a glass water bottle sitting on your dash would hit you in the face if you are in an accident or have to do an emergency stop. Please be careful - your friendly voice and witticism would be missed if you weren't able to vlog. Take care sir.

Now there's only a couple of others. The area is still referred to as "The Balti Triangle", but it's really more like a burger/fried chicken triangle these days.

3.5 hrs Leeds to Birmingham, cor blimey. Top place, nice man on counter. Top quality curry and mixed grill there, plenty of it I am not up with UK prices as from OZ but to me 47 quid was perhaps ok for what you got., saying that there enough food for 3 or 4 I suppose. Giant Naan bread !! 9 from me.

Should have gone to Lahore village across the Rd on the corner. Home of the masala fish, and you must try the fresh chicken or lamb karahi Also the pre marinated T Bone Steak

I love chicken Madras. It is really spicy, but less spicy than a vindaloo. A plain Nan to go with it. Mmmmmmmmmm!!
