I'm not a famous person or anything, but when I was working for Samsung, I was asked to assist with a Make a Wish for a kid who loved Samsung products. It was so cool getting the chance to spend the day with him and sort of being his personal consultant in everything on our products. I didn't always enjoy that job, there was a lot of things that were wrong with it, but that is one thing I look back on very very fondly from that period of time working there. I still have the photo of my team, and the kid and his family and the make a wish photo that they took during that day. It's a very humbling experience, and really makes you look on a lot of things with a different view.

I can tell you from personal experience that the type of Leukemia he has is more deadly the older you get it. I got it when I was 11 in 1995, and I was given only 5% chance of survival with the treatment they had back then. And mine was in the beginning stages when it was caught. Not sure how things have advanced in the 25 years since then, but the worse part is the time leading up to the Maintenance Program, and it can REALLY suck. Me personally, I was nearly done with my treatments by the time M-A-W reached out to me. My wish: give a wish to someone that is terminal in stage 4, as my wish has already been granted, which was beating Leukemia.
