I think moms will have different decision if it is her son will marry a filipina or if her daughter will marry a filipino. Most moms prefers american or european to marry their daughter due to STATUS as filipinos are considered as third country national that's why expect for rejection. It's a different story if the filipino guy is rich then maybe you get approval. However, for a korean son to marry a filipina, communication is a factor for moms approval. Even she's not rich as long as she can communicate with her they can easily get along.

@@ibrahimgul864 not just communication if your a girl and they find you pretty they will like you instantly and yeah they'll insist of learning their language which is the most BASIC STANDARD if you wanna be friend the locals in any country. Status is funny if it's with a girl since Korea is very patriarchal expect the men to do the work usually they will let you have your own career BUT if your mother in law is very traditional then thats a different story 😂😂😂 Status is for men to be questioned 😝 what i like about them is that mostly families they'll invest in their daughters letting her experience leisure, pampering her, making her if not the prettiest then the most prettiest 😂😂😂 so that a rich man will notice her 😂😂😂 i remember those ahjummas and my samunim telling me not be serious with the one i am dating 😂😂😂 that i should get married with a rich Korean man since they find me very pretty 😂😂😂 I never dated a Korean man.. There's always an adjustment in every relationship whether you have the same ethnicity or not. It's expected to have that shock reaction from both family sides (Korean & Filipino or other nationalities) because of cultural differences. You marry your lifetime partner because of Love but Love and Marriage are two different things. Love is your mutual emotional connection while Marriage is your lifetime commitment. Keeping your commitment involves responsibilities not only as a lover (as in gf/bf) but as a husband and wife and that includes not only the emotional part (Love) but also the domestic part (financial, child-bearing, child-rearing, future family plans, family traditions- funerals, & all that matters with your in-laws and extended families) of your spouse. Before jumping into marriage, first there must be Love existing between the couples and second, if both are ready to fulfill commitment and both are willing to adjust, then multicultural marriage is going to work. (I'm a Filipina, 34 and am married with Korean husband, been living together for 12 years with an 11 y.o. daughter). The beginning was rough as I was 22 back then but with certain adjustments, we achieved a Happy Married Life (I repeat, Happy! Not Perfect!) Have a nice day!

Communications is very important cause in that way both parties will understand on how or what to convey their emotions. Both of you are yoUng and all mothers will somehow not gonna agree that their son/s getting married at a young age. Time change and every mother~in~law will gonna accept their son's wife as time goes by. It's a long process.. Keep up the good vibes guys👍👍👍

Finally.. this is the type of vlog ive been looking for...and you nailed it! .. Blunt, straight to the point, no sugarcoating , no cuts and edits.. just plain facts.. unlike other korean vloggers who make contents about philippines and they had to sugarcoat everything just to get views.. you guys are giving light to the whole situation... what we heared from your mother is not gold to our ears .. and it hurt us.. but it just show that people from different culture also have prejudice towards other culture.. and we should be more open minded in accepting the reality that not all the time we get the respect that we want.. and thats a human thing ..

In a way, I understand the mindset of wanting to marry someone of the same cultural and ethnic background. Take 90 Day Fiance as an example. When two very different cultures collide, there's a lot of compromise and understanding that needs to be done. It's not just that. We, as humans, have habits that are a lot harder to break if we've lived a certain way all our lives.

I do understand the reaction of your mothers but what I like most is the 2nd mother who says"what's important is love".In this modern world Love is still the basis of marriage and also respect and understanding of both cultures.
