Inspiration behind the song:
A few years ago I was working for a large corporation. As life challenges us, I had a lot on my plate. So much that I found myself in a mental breakdown. I am a person that chooses not to share my sadness, or what one would think, failure. The company I was employed with wanted to know everything about what was happening in my personal life. I choose not to share. Instead of working with my doctor and helping me, they then terminated me with ‘Just case’. This was even more devastating, as I have always strived to be the top employee. As you may or may not know, I channel my emotions through song writing. This song definitely gave me some unexpected laughs while writing! I had no intentions of recording it, but with the craziness in the world today, I thought it may help others to smile or laugh the same.

V1-Here’s a little story ‘bout a place of work / It’s like organized crime, in a book / They like to dangle carrots, in your eyes / No shortage of money, is their disguise / They’re like little Hitler’s on the go / They lost the best dam worker….they’ll ever know / Here’s a little secret, can you let them know / Life’s about living, with the seeds you sow / That place would run fine, without them around / Who are they trying to kid, we’re not clowns / They’re like little Hitler’s on the go / they lost the best dam worker they’ll ever know / Chorus - First they like me, admire, take me in praise / Then they ridicule and laugh in their own way/ Now you want to fight, fight in sin / Baby I’ve got news for you / I win / V2- Now here’s a little story, for you to know / What comes around goes around is no joke / One day when you find yourself, out on your ass / Just give me a call, I’ll show you where it’s at / Right here, we work hard for our money / you lost the best dam worker you’ll ever know / Sticks and stones may break my bones / The words you say are written in stone / What I’d give to be around on your final day / To witness the Good Lord, have his way / Right here, we work hard for our money / you lost the best dam worker you’ll ever know / Chorus / Bridge / I’ll never bow down, to the likes of you / There’s more jobs, I’m a hard workin’ fool / Chorus X2
