52:00 Ah yes, the Renaissance era, renowned for starting in 375 AD when the first research labs were being built. Also in 375, Romans are still in charge of Britain. Babylon is just such a fun civ with such a high skill ceiling. It's great when you get a few eurekas in any other game, but it is so imperative here, and so great to see the full extent of the possible madness

Tech stealing in a game like this isn't as useful. It's good to backfill techs you didn't get, but it doesn't really help with getting to the end game projects since there's no chance the AI has them unlocked for you to steal.
@theprometheu5
Жыл бұрын
@@PhantomNull13 not the endgame techs of course, but other than those u can usually steal a lot boosts (or full techs in this case). also u can siphon funds later and money is always welcome in civ6 :D
@PhantomNull13

@theprometheu5 usually, yes. Tech stealing is incredibly good as Babylon. It's just in this kind of game, where the whole point is to speed run it, there should not be any meaningful techs that the AI unlocks before you do.

How do you automaticly open crafting queue from city? By me it opens the production tab, pls help me!
@silvankollenburg3173
Жыл бұрын
the way you got a pool of science, by forcing the game to go to the next turn, can you also use that to get a pool of production in a city, for when you want something in that city, but you have to wait a couple of turns before the research is complete for example?
@boesthius
Жыл бұрын
unfortunately no, production overflowing does not work like that - it gets erased after 1 whole turn. there is production overflow in the game, i.e. if you chop a woods tile that has more production than what you're chopping out, it overflows into the next item you're building or into the queue for that turn.

since were playing as babylon, science doesnt really do anything for us because I unlock technologies via Eurekas with his unique ability: "Eurekas instantly unlock their respective technologies. -50% Science Science per turn." Additionally, even in science games culture is king - Culture unlocks governments and policy cards which boost the things you want more than just getting science early on~ Later on science matters more, but early game culture is king
