As a dude who is facing 40 in a few years (I still 100% feel like I am 21 physically) and hasn't managed to achieve anything I dreamt of as a child or younger man, this track speaks to me on an emotional level. I hope I can reach my dreams before it's truly too late. I am lucky in a respect, as well as my physically still feeling like I did at 21, I very fortunately don't look my age (I've been told that I still look like I am in my mid 20s by enough people to actually start to believe it a little, whether or not it is true lol). The only reason I mention my looks is that it is in part allowing me to pick up my former ambitions without the overarching fear (it's deffo still there, just not overwhelming) that I am way too old to be doing XYZ. So despite starting at a much later on than I would have liked, I am determined to try and chase my dreams. And you absolutely should do the same dude, I will be rooting for your success. So after listening to this cover a couple hundred times, I think I've finally figured out why this song makes me feel weirdly uplifted. Like obviously Kiara and Ina friggin killed the vocals and the animation is incredible but the lyrics really resonated with me. They leave me with this feeling of its okay to be a mess sometimes. Even though life is rough and your head works against you, we keep on existing, and that's all we need to do! So whatever if my life is a wreck, my life will still go on and that's a good thing. I've got no idea if there's really any underlying message to the lyrics or if its just meant to be a banger, but that's how it made me feel. I find life is one of 2 things: you either 1) resign yourself to simply crave what you crave, teetering between depression and ecstasy, and at the end of the day accomplish nothing, but hey, at least the dopamine is flowing, and so thus you had fun. or 2) you throw anything, everything that you coexist with on the side away, to try and accomplish something that you truly yearn for. A high risk, high return situation, where if you achieve it, you can get to be happy and have accomplished something to be proud of, but if you don't/mistake your choice of what you yearn for, you end up in category 1 with a weight dragging you into depression. and that's why some, including myself, joined group 1.

I have a job that I really like; and had a transportation conflict for a week. I'm honestly glad my boss is understanding, but dang, for that week when I had nothing to do, I've never felt so helpless and alone. Goddamn those lyrics really described how my emotional state declined in that little of time. It's probably also because when I just got out of school, I had basically just lost my other job, and for almost half a year, I had already been experiencing an emotional decline. The scheduling conflict was basically just a trigger for me to revert back to what I had felt previously, which was helpless and alone. It doesn't help that the reason for my scheduling conflict was that my dad had a business trip that week, my mom had a day job, and my younger brother was at school during the day. Basically, I had the strongest feeling of loneliness during the day, and I hated it every bit. I have never been so glad to go back to my job, and I have never missed being at work that much. Again, my boss is really nice and understanding, and my coworkers honestly put a smile on face every day, which made me miss working even more. I'm honestly glad that said week is over, and I am now working on getting a new car, cause I never, ever, want to do that again. Regardless of the rant, I just feel like those lyrics described my loneliness during that week to a tee.

It's funny because although I found this song and added it to my playlist some time ago, I've never really remembered or focused on it. Yet today I realized I should find a passion or something I do outside of school because school isn't everything, especially in college apps. But looking at the lyrics say how it's whatever if you don't do anything useful really reassures me, and makes me feel a little less rushed to find the thing I'm passionate about.

Alarms and reminder are set! I’m so damn excited for this! *TAKOTORI LETS GOOO!!!* [Edit] *Thoughts after listening to it:* sheeeesh! I absolutely loved it! It’s a bop, and it’s funky and man it’s SO DAMN CUTE! Not only the art and MV, but also the thing that caught attention the most was how great your voice with Ina sounds! Your voices fits very well together and it’s truly blessing to finally have this TakoTori duet happen.

This is one of those kind of songs that is an absolute banger hearing it for the first time but hits differently and make you think once you learned of its meaning. This song is dealing with the topic of existential crisis and depression which a lot of people is struggling with everyday. Though how heavy the topic it is, singing it out loud and recognizing the issue is the first step toward a better tomorrow. Thank you both for delivering it beautifully.

Just watched it 4 times. Every duet Kiara does with her genmates is seriously 10/10. Ever single fucking one! The song made me stand up and dance like crazy, the video is sooooooo cute, and the lyrics were based and relatable. Last person left is Ame!

Kiaras brighter more energetic voice and Inas calmer tone work so well togehter, more so in this song. One gives a slightly paniced feeling, while the other feels like a shrug towards the bad situation sung about. Keep it up you two!

Now this is something! The lyrics are, surprisingly, more attuned to Ina than Kiara, though it is an acknowledgement of a phase in their lives more likely than not. And, of course, funky~
