Relive the career of 2017 International Swimming Hall of Fame inductee Ian Crocker of the United States.
Crocker, who was initially supposed to be honored into the Hall of Fame in 2017, had to miss the induction ceremony last year and was officially honored in 2018.
Crocker is one of the most successful 100 butterflyers in swimming history, setting the LCM world record three total times from 2003-2005, with the latter lasting for four years before the great Michael Phelps took it down in 2009.
Crocker finished second behind Phelps in the 100 fly at the 2004 Olympics despite feeling ill during the Games.
Crocker made three total Olympic teams and was the first swimmer from the state of Maine to swim in the Olympics when he first made an appearance in 2000 in Sydney at the age of 17.
