Ian Hunter never wrote a bad song. What a treasure. Thankful he’s still with us. Still treading the boards. Still killing it. His music makes good times better and sad times tolerable. He owes us nothing. Cherish his music, his likes won’t come again.

I think Mick was the most under-rated guitarist Britain has ever had and it's sad that so many today have no idea who he was. He deserved to be far better known.

My son passed away last November 29th. For almost a year I have listened to this song over and over- it is the deepest thing when somebody you love dies. Good night Christopher Reed, good night.

All I ever wanted was to see you play this song live with my dad. I always tell him I wish I lived during this beautiful time of music. All of the best memories I have with my dad are listening to your music. Even though this song is sad for my dad because it reminds him of one his best friends dying, it still reminds me of my dad and I jamming out in our basement reminiscing about how life can be so hard at times. Your music is such a big part of our lives. Thank you.

I first heard Micks guitar in 1974 when I saw Bowie on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert when I was 13. I had no idea he would one day be so iconic.

Great tribute to Mick. I love the way Ian always ends it live with’To know him is to love him. I’ve always wondered if he’d thought of it after and wished he did that on the original recording, as I’ve never heard him perform it live without it.

Glad to say that Ian is stilling singing this song in tribute to his great friend & colleague Michael 'Ronno' Ronson. Ian performed this at The Stables, Wavenden on Friday 29 March 2013. It was a poignant moment 20 years after the death of Mick. A great tribute from a great artiste. RIP Ronno.

Beautiful song, but if you want a humorous look at the relationship they had, listen to Another Fine Mess. It's written from Mick's POV.
