Far play to the ref, I guess. I've said for a long time, a red card offence is a red card offence. Doesn't matter if you're in the first minute or 100th. @towmlvb3423

A friend referred me to this after we had had an "old warriors" chat about our times in uniform. I was horrified by the offence that was sanctioned by a red card. I used an unarmed combat move that was effectively the same as that way of breaking a person's neck, just with both myself and the other person vertical when I set the hold. There must have been just enough difference between what I did and what that "16" did, because I don't recall anyone surviving the hold I used. I remain horrified that anyone could have done anything that similar to what I did in a legitimate combat situation, but in a sport said to be "made for hooligans, played by gentlemen"...

So... which rule(s) do you think he got wrong?

if it was nigel owens it would have finished 15 v 15... and that's becasue nigel doesn't do his job in the last five or so mins of a game. the rules go out the window and he refuses to blow the whistle regardless of repeated infringements left right and center. remember when he was the best ref in the world... far from it now. unless it's for the all blacks then he has no problem giving them a penalty at the first opportunity.

Except for the first call That ref was pathetic ... Very typical of nth hemi refs dictating the game .

That was class refereeing. As a ref assessor that was great

That's insane refereeing. Unless bath had been offside all game, it's totally missing the point of what the cards are for. They're not sweets.

First one was bad the rest was so PC and weak all over, just go a big dirty and rough, no wonder the French are not good at rugby anymore.
