I just bought one, sight unseen online. It's in transit on a fedex truck. . I watch reviews in the mean time. A few reviews say there are some quality control issues with this line. Truss rods crazy tight, stripped out screws for the strap buttons. Some get lucky, some don't.

It sounds great, man! What tunning are you using? Do you think it would work well on lower tunnings? I read a few comments in other videos saying it wouldn't.

I tune my E down to C# for some songs and it works but you will be hitting the Snark tuner between songs...love the bass though, I've had mine a couple of years and play it all the time.

How does the fret board feel? Would you say this is a pretty good bass in it's price range? Nice demo playing by the way!
@deerslayeraudio2441
3 жыл бұрын
The fretboard feels really nice, the frets are decent (no sharp edges). I don't have a lot of experience comparing this bass against other bass's in this price range. My only other bass is a 5 string Ibanez. Before I purchased it, I did read a ton of reviews. I am very happy with this bass, especially not being a bass player. It is very fun to play. And for the price... you just cant beat it.

This was a crap demonstration🤦🏻♂️… I just bought one of these. the same exact model. If you’re looking for the best mini bass you can get, this is it👍🏻. Everything about it works good enough. The pick ups are high so unless you raise the action high you’re going to have to play gently. Unless your flooding it with distortion, in which case it doesn’t really fucking matter😊

Is this recommended for a serious playing? I'm starting a band with my good buddies, and we agreed to take things seriously. The bassist is a guitarist-turn-to-bassist who struggled to reach the frets of a bass.. Will this be good & okay for gigging (or even professional use) after component upgrades?
@deerslayeraudio2441

It’s a pretty legit little bass. I got it for the exact same reason as you described above. I think you’d be perfectly fine gigging this bass.

@@deerslayeraudio2441 yes they can. I’m running ( Long scale) Dunlop 40/100 Flatwounds on mine and they work great. you’ve got to string them up ( if using long scale strings ) and then cut them after stringing to proper length.
