Hello Ellis and family I really enjoyed watching you guys make coconut ice cream . I truly enjoy all your videos because there are some that bring back so much memories for me when I was growing up especially with certain words you use and things you say. One such memory it’s about your coconut ice cream and the pale, on a Sunday after Indian movie on the tv the ice cream man used to pass by in every street and you would hear him before he reach our street selling his ice cream on his bike in the ice cream pale, he was from El Dorado and his name was Michael not to sure about that. But when I saw your video today it reminded me of him and my siblings and my Tante and Grandparents.Thank you for sharing please continue to do what you do we enjoy watching you and your family.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Good memories are all we have at the end of the day. ✨ Glad you guys are making SWEET ONES by the ICE CREAM PAIL. 👏🎉 Kudos to the gentleman who gave this thoughtful Gift 🎁. 🎈 The kids had fun as usual, and are "snap-shotting" these moments in their minds just like all the Viewers and Subscribers. ⭐ ✨🎉 Ice Cream 🍨🍦 was "invented about 200 BC, and there's documentation that ALEXANDER THE GREAT enjoyed ice cream. 😉 Automation made things easier, but in many cases at the expense of human relationships and bonding. You'd note the INSTANT JOY AND LAUGHTER AND HAPPINESS that this Manual Ice Cream Maker CHURNED OUT. 👏 Not to mention memories evoked by Subscribers as already mentioned. We never know who's watching these videos so I like to sweeten them up with a dash of Trinidadian goodies.😉 A word that sounded like - PICONG or PIKONG - was used, and it's origin is FRENCH which ended up in our Trinidadian French Creole Patois vocabulary!👏✨⭐ PICONG or PIKONG comes from the PRESENT PARTICIPLE (i.e. verbs ending in: -ING like cook-ING, and fete-ING, etc.) of the French Verb - PIQUER (to stick or poke) - and is a linguistic alteration over time of the French Present Participle - PIQUANT - meaning "STICKING" or "POKING". PICONG OR PIKONG thus means in English: "POKING FUN AT" or "JOKING" with someone. Moreover, what Trinidadians call "PIKKA" when referring to THORNS is that same French Word - PIQUANT (poking or sticking) that is connected to PICONG OR PIKONG!👏✨⭐ So PIKKA AND PICONG OR PIKONG are related! They both come from PIQUANT, one meaning a physical poke from a thorn, and the other poke from joking or poking fun at someone! 🎈 Can't wait to see some more SWEET EXPERIMENTS perhaps while chicken is BBQ-ing on the Coal Pot 😉.

Growing up my parents had one of these ice cream pail. The only weekends we never made ice-cream was someone borrowed it. My brothers use to get up early on Sunday morning to buy hard ice from the ice truck. My mom use to make all different flavors but coconut was the favorite, that was like 50 years ago. We would all take turns, turning the handle.

News paper roll and put to the underneath it will help keep the ice I have a pail like this. You always sweeten to your fancy. Even if the recipe say use a tin just use half .

I have an electric ice cream maker..it's set up d same way..d only difference is that u plug it on and it spins by itself until d ice cream is finish and it stops. U can use whatever fruit u have at hand to make different flavor ice cream...like d watermelon..boil guava and use d liquid..sour sop..I've made peanut butter flavor..I've used red solo. U can make your own inventions. It have a line on d canister up to where u full your liquid because as it mixes and gets firm it rises. If d pail was filled with ice from d beginning it would've come in faster. That was really nice of Mr Shaun to bless u with d pail and all d other stuff. His paintings look awesome and I must say Sydney's paintings are really beautiful also. Wonderful video as always..❤️ love u guys.

Hi Ellis and Mr Sana. Might I suggest a few pointers: 1. Don’t add any water. The richness would add to creaminess. Adding water would lend to an ‘icier’ consistency. 2. Chill the mixture for minimum 4 hrs. Overnight would be best 3. Chill the paddle and the canister in the freezer for minimum 4hrs or overnight also Great videos 💓

The ice is supposed to be filled to the very top. Much more salt should be used. Use full cream milk for the fat content Use fresh coconut as the fat is not contained in the powdered form The final product brought back so many memories..😢

The ice cream looks so good. Any how lets pray ok. Amen Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalm : 29. 2 Who can compare to the One who created the heavens, the earth, and everything in between? Who can say they can stand on the same ground as the God who made the ultimate sacrifice of love, to save those who didn't even know they needed saving? No one. In all we do, in all we see, and in all we face, we must carry this thought in mind: the God we call our Heavenly Father is the greatest of all. In all His splendor and glory, He counted us worthy to be called His children. There truly is no one like Him. Dear God, no one can compare to your greatness. There is no one, not a single being, in this universe that can try to stand up to you. In all the things I have read, seen, and heard of your greatness, O Lord, I know that there is so much more to your greatness we are yet to know. I pray that all the earth will come to the knowledge of your greatness, O God, and that we will all come to worship you and give you the praise that is truly due to you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Viewing from Brazil. That's not the way to churn ice cream. First of all the ice is too little. The secret is, don't stop churnning. Let out the water and keep adding ice. Churn until the handle gets extreamly stiff and refuse to turn. That's an indication that the churnning is finished. In Guyanese language we say "the ice-cream has come" open the can and there you have it. When I was a kid my parents did it every Sunday. That was over 65 years ago.
