The intense summer heat continues to grip the entire North India, affecting both humans and wildlife. Rajasthan officials implemented special measures to protect the animals at Nahargarh Biological Park in Jaipur from the scorching heat. Efforts include providing cold milk to tigers and panthers and fruit ice cream to bears, ensuring the animals stay cool and hydrated. To shield the panther, leopard, deer, bear, fox, and baboon from the oppressive heat, wet screens, and fountains have also been installed outside their enclosures. Bears get watermelons, while tigers and panthers are given meat during the day and cold milk in the evening. Trees were planted here last monsoon to ensure that the temperature does not rise and now tin sheds have been designed at various places for shade.
