I love dead sticking with dropper chain lures. My personal favorite is the perch talker! I was up on Lacs for 4 days last week fishing the flats....bite was awesome!

FishingMNsota you guys got a lot of slush up there? Buddy and myself coming to town next week and trying to gauge the ice and get a plan together

Slush isn't bad. 8" of good ice under 3 inches or trash ice. No wheel houses yet. Couple cracks near shore. Worth paying for road access.

I was curious about this too. All I've seen is that it's super slushy. It didn't look too bad where you were. Would you mind sharing where you went out of?

Tom Boley thanks for response ran into tons of shelf ice last week on south end and decent amount of slush out of garrison reef but that was a few weeks ago before rain. Thanks for update!

Awesome information. I do well with the tingler type spoons but not with the Kastmaster. Will need to try this technique. If and when you need to switch out split rings what size do you use?
@TomBoley

I never need to switch out split rings with the kastmaster. But most the time split ring size is not an issue. Split ring quality on alot of baits is.

Why do you let those fish go that are destined for delayed mortality? Why not eat them?

The amount of information you give on each one of your videos is insane. Thank you. Still haven’t caught a walleye on the ice this year but it’ll happen.
