Before I even watch the video, I used to throw out perch eggs myself, now I fry them up whenever I have them. Cut the skein, use a spoon to scrape the eggs away, put them in hot butter AFTER you've fried up a couple of minced garlic cloves add salt and pepper. Serve with toast and enjoy. Cheers.

My mom saw me about to throw a bunch of perch eggs out once and didn't want me to waste them, so she looked up if you could eat them and we fried them with butter and garlic. With the flavor from the garlic and butter they were alright, texture was sort of weird, but worth trying at least once. It definitely doesn't hurt.

If you squish the egg sack down with the spatula and flatten them out as you cook them you get a faster, more even cook, plus they taste better cause they get more of a crisp on em and are less like a big soft egg sack. Helps with the texture. Plus, don't forget the salt!

It's fun watching those on camera! Most of the lakes I fish around me are deep and the perch are in as deep as 80 foot of water. Some are on the bottom but the active feeders are 10 to 20 feet off the bottom! You mark a school for a minute or two and then they're gone! Way different than the way you get to fish them in your video!

The fish egg sack, you have to split the sack in half to get the batter in side. This get the flavor inside the sack. Northern eggs are the best to eat, walleye eggs not bad either. Give this a try, you will taste the difference !

Hey Clayton! love the videos, I got a couple questions, when fishing walleye and pike, what type of line do you use? I’ve always used braid and a long floro leader tied with a Alberto knot. And most of the time I’m fishing in a tent, Not sure if fish see the mainline or not, would you recommend going full mono? Also do you use a swivel when jigging
