This is one of my favorite Sheena Easton tracks. I wasn't alive during her reign on the charts (I was born in 1992, one year after her last top 40 hit), but she remains to me as one of the greatest artists ever, up there with the likes of the best singer that ever lived, Karen Carpenter. Both Carpenter and Easton have those untouchably unique voices that have yet to be disputed by any, um, "artist" today. I'm so glad this video was uploaded in good quality! Thanks for doing that! -vixenrevitup

vixenrevitup It's nice to see young people appreciate Sheena's and Karen's voices. They are my only two favorite vocalists. I grew up listening to 70s and 80s music. And those two have the most distinctive voices. There's no one like them.

It's simply wonderful to hear a very young person appreciating & acknowledging Sheena Easton's unique special voice. I first fell in love with Sheena after hearing Morning Train (9 to 5) when it became huge in America. But her voice truly shines in the ballads, the emotions were heartfelt & its a great pity that many of them did not get to be commercial hits because the music industry only promoted specific songs for the masses. With each new album release, I recalled the joy I felt upon finding the number of ballads that was on each album. In the days when cassette tapes were widely used, I would select the ballads from each album & diligently record it from my vinyls, making sure that the playlist were randomly selected. The process took a very long time, taking the vinyl out from the sleeve, cleaning it first to reduce the static, checking which track to place the needle on & almost immdediately, the "record" button on the cassette deck must be pressed promptly to ensure that its being recorded right from the beginning of each song. This effort in the end was SO worthwhile because I had a 60mins tape of Sheena's ballads all into one. Oh those were the days before CDs existed.

I was born in 1991 and I love Sheena Easton. She was a looker and that voice was something else. Just the total package.

I really like hear bright and absolute clear voice. Her ballads always moved me. I haven't heard this song for quite a while but it immediately struck a chord inside . Ahhhh...
I looooved Sheena Easton... Gosh I saw this video now - 2019 and I remembered every word. Such an amazing singer/songwriter and her version of Wind beneath my Wings was undoubtedly the best... Long before it was done by Bette Midler. Thanks for uploading this!
