Challenge accepted! Expose your body to cold water for a certain amount of time each week, for the next few weeks. I live in Helsinki and am a 7min walk to the Gulf of Finland, where the water temperature is currently around 1.5-2.5°C (34.7-36.5°F).
I'll be sharing with you my experience over the next few weeks of this challenge. I'll talk about how my body has been reacting to the cold, the breathing techniques I'm using to help me cope, and the mental challenges I've been facing.
I'll also share some tips and advice on how to do cold water exposure safely and responsibly, and how to prepare your body and mind for this kind of challenge.

Current protocol:
First emersion; hold a little longer than what you think you can.
Do not fight the hyperventilating. Let the body do what it needs to.
Come out of the water for 30 sec and repeat
