This is exactly what I want to try to build. This looks awesome. Good job. Is it possible to add another fold? I can make another smitty sled to pull the floor but the path I have to pull through might not support the width of your floors

I'm making very similar as this but my tent is 6'x6 (72"x72")' and it perfect fit by 2 sheet fold (folded 39"x78" open 78"x78") 4 hook on each corner to tent hook on.

This works if you have no snow if you have snow you will be either plowing an area or shoveling for an hour= few hour set up an Hoping you can get a flat enough surface

I am about to start this project here in a few days. Plan is to set up my Eskimo 850xd to get the inside measurements. I plan to leave an inch all the way around so it doesn’t rub. Is that the best way to go? Or do you think it would be better to make it longer so I can secure it straight to the floor?

I have done the same thing you have with the floor, do you find that the ice melts and water comes up over the floor and the floor floats?

I would like a platform that would raise my flipover about a foot off the ice so we could fish when there is water on top of the ice. Any ideas?

I love ice fishing. when using a portable its so much f#×@ing work lol. Then people get hammered and are useless come clean up time. I though about doing this for my 5 man. Never got around to it yet.

Do you secure your tent to the floor or to the ice still?
