I see the hoses for washing dirt from cars at the upper end of the road near the restaurant. When I was traveling there every town had a place to wash the dust dirt and mud off the car on entering the town so as not to spread the mud all over the place. I never managed to get to Vík. Very good video. Iceland as it is. I was just interested to know this village and the atmosphere. I wonder where are all the people. Are there any public holidays when local residents come out in folk costumes and greet each other. Very interesting, are there any decent hotels. The sea at the black sand beach looks like a place where dragon lives in, and if you dare to swim there it will jump out and eat you. Thank you, very simple and right to the point in terms of what is needed.
@IcelandHotSpots

Thank you. Yes there are some public holidays, the national independence day is held 17th of june every year and there are people out and about. All sorts of other holidays as well.
