If I could make a decent waterfall in iClone... I'd be a happy camper myself! I have't done so well but if you ever find a way to do so that looks good please let me know. Thanks for watching!!!

WarLord720 I just found away to do it. I went to set which is under content. Then particle then legacy then water then water. In order to move the waterfall or make it bigger I went to scene then chose waterfall there are three objects there. One looks like an eye. Select that one and you will see an object on the screen. It’s like a pyramid without the peak on top. I’ve learned with that you can move or rotate the waterfall. And on the to modify the waterfall. You can go to the modify section to the right of the screen. Basically you can and rocks expand them then strategically place the waterfall in the rocks. I expanded the rocks to make it look like a mountain to do this

Dunno if anyone cares but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of weeks =)

When I lower the height map the whole terrain sinks below the plane with no apparent way to bring it back up. Water and all other 3d models and props float way above the terrain when I drop them in!
@WarLord720

There is a slider that raises the terrain back up to where you need it. I think it's below the height slider.

Hey I already created my scene. Is it best to start over and build the river or can I work around the props I already have
@WarLord720

You should be able to work around them. Might take some trial and error but I would try that first. Let us know how it worked out.

Do you have any morph tutorials. Like morphing a human into a car, plane or animal something like that
@WarLord720
5 жыл бұрын
No I don't but that's a great idea. The main thing is... the polycount of the models have to stay the same. If you are going to morph one into another then both models require the same number of vertices. This is universal to all morphs in most programs.

WarLord720 great. thanks for letting me know that. Quick idea that just pop up what if while the human is morphing at some point we pause it then add the object. For example it takes him/her 10 seconds to morph we record the 10 seconds. At the 9 second mark we use visual effects to have the human seeming to be fading away and at the 11 second mark we just place the object. Or instead of using visual effects make the scene play out stop it whatever time we want for example 20 seconds and on the 21 second put the object.

A fade between two or more clips is how I've done it in the past. That way you are not constrained by the polycount. If you wanted to morph a werewolf then you use models that match each other in count up to a certain point as you mention. Then use another set of matching models for the next phase and so on. Morphing can be the most realistic but FX in POST work is generally more efficient.

This is so ugly, why cant we paint directly the terrain and sculpt it in iClone? Like in Unreal engine, we're in 2017 fuck
