Appreciate your analysis. What I find tragic is that the housemate, DM, after hearing crying, peeping out her bedroom door and coming face to face with the stranger in black, she closes her door frozen. This was between 4:04am. and 4:20 am. she didn’t call 911 until 8 hours later. Had she called immediately her friends might have lived instead of bleeding out for 8 hours. She must feel awful. 16 minutes to attack 4 people two of which received a food order after 4:00 am. They had to be awake when the intruder entered.

This my seem like a silly question but I want to know if Thai food is vegan? On the traffic stop in Indiana the officer asked where they were going. This was the second stop in Indiana and I really believe they were simply stopping them just to keep tabs on them and they were clearly known to authorities before the even left Pullman for Pennsylvania. The dad answer we are heading to PA but Brian says they are headed for some Thai food. This seems like an evasive, panic driven answer. If it isn’t vegan then it is an inconsistency in his behavior. Perhaps unimportant but my mind works in funny ways…

This case is SO interesting. It's fascinating to see the process from the very beginning. The thing that stands out to me is that BK went through so much trouble to hide his identity, the face covering, dark clothing, turning off his cell phone, etc.....but he was bare-handed when he unsnapped the knife sheath? No fingerprints on any of the bedroom door handles? But he was seen wearing gloves while grocery shopping in the weeks after the murders? Very curious.
@matildacarlstedt

The gloves while shopping could be to conceal cuts or scratches on the hands perhaps? I don’t know what kind of gloves he wore but it could be to conceal more than for not leaving dna.

As of this document, I'm horrified and the personal impact it has is terrible. I have two grand-daughters, ages 19 and 20 in out of state universities. At this age we believe to be invincible and nothing bad can touch us. All I can do is pray for these families. It's a life changing event to lose a child, moreover under these horrific circumstances. Nothing about this case seems right but would if seen through the eyes of two perpetrators. It makes more sense. Time frames and mistakes. I have no proof of this but the way things are STILL Progressing and the way they have handled this case, I believe the police think so too. From there statements of PEOPLE in the car as a plural before the arrest, to Bryan asking if anyone else had been arrested to the was the driving of the cars pattern speaks of a getaway driver. It would also explain why the sheath or scabbard of the knife was clumsily left at the scene. I think that the person who was in the house was known by Kernodle and the others killed and for some reason something went terribly wrong. This would explain why he did not kill the other room mate and the reason why the car sped out as fast as it did. I have no proof of this mind you, but it does all make sense.

@@sara_387 Thank you. Those may be the stated reasons she didn't, but the real reason and the stated reason for everything we say and do are not always one and the same. I'm not buying her stated reasons. Would I admit to being an absolute coward who let my friends bleed out while I cringed in my room? Not if I wanted have a life afterwards. Against the backdrop of her encounter with the killer, how I would have reacted is conjecture. If she were frozen in 😱 fear as she said, why not at least call 911 regarding an intruder? Maybe she didn't have a cellphone but a college kid without one would be strange. But let's say she didn't. She saw the intruder exit. She could have crept out after a half hour of close listening for his return and checked on a roommate with a phone--which would have revealed problems. I don't mean be harsh.
