During the month's of February and March 2015 Irish Rail began trial runs of their Mark 4 coaches on the Northern Line, the original plan was to use them on the Dublin - Belfast Enterprise Service, but in the end it never happened. The Mark 4s were tested on most lines in Dublin, most of these tests happened late at night so I couldn't get out for most of them but they ran one during the day to Dundalk.
In this video we see the Mk4 trial arriving into Connolly Station before soon heading off to Pearse Street. After a while it returns and makes a stop at Connolly again, once it was finished it made its way to the Docklands Branch.
A few days later we head to Howth Junction where we see two Enterprises passing, once the line was clear we then see the Mk4 trial train passing, it was heading to Dundalk.
Then later on in the day we see it again at Raheny, this time it was heading back to Heuston.
