Peter "Pekelo" Cosma, Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning song-writer and master of Hawaiian slack key, died Wednesday at his home in Makawao, Maui. He was 51. Cosma's ex-wife, Robin White, told the Maui News that he died of heart failure.Aug 26, 2011

tyvm this was our graduation song at castle high kaneohe. carol kay sang with us. it is the only hawaiian song i remember since i left hawaii at 20. you sang this awesome. wonderful . mahalo kako

@wjc1952 Yes, that is Irmgard Aluli with her group "Puamana". Also present at that historic kanikapila that day in 1993 was the Lim Family, Martin Pahinui and Friends, and the Halau Hula Olana.

@paxukulele Yes quite nice. Your "Let It Snow" video is quite nice too. Pretty cool to see real snowing while you sang that song. Don't get that much here in Waipahu!
