What a joyous sound! Fantastic you made this instrument yourself!

I wonder, how it feels to hold if for longer, don't your legs get tired? I only had a chance to try for a couple of mins, my friend plays one (Eeva Meret, you can find a video of a live performance if you're interested, just warning, it's very intense). And one schoolmate made one (didn't play that one) - most of us are making guitars most of the time though you can make any other stringed instrument (well, hardly a piano but others), another schoolmate just finished an octave mandolin and other made a dulcimer at some point. Also, one of the founders and original teachers at our school has also made (probably a plenty of) jouhikkos. Rauno Nieminen, you can google him (can't put a link here for you, apparently 🙄).

Very nice playing! The Ievan Polkka is the reason I'm learning Suomi (Finnish). Very nice instrument, too! Subscribed!
