To be honest, Ham was this time actually much more right than that woman. Hibernation, though it was restricted once for doing it to the degree some rodents do it (believe me, if you are unfamiliar with it, that could have been the inspiration for the resurrection of the dead) is now commonly used to include the thing bears do too. bear.org/do-black-bears-hibernate/ Like most things in evolution, hibernation is something with degrees and thus a bit of ambiguity...

@@angelmendez-rivera351 No, I am right, and thus you are wrong, if scientists would not be using the word Hibernation for the things bear do in peer-reviewed publications, the following articles would not exist: Evans, A.L., Singh, N.J., Friebe, A. et al. Jørgensen, P.G., Evans, A., Kindberg, J. et al. Cardiac adaptation in hibernating, free-ranging Scandinavian Brown Bears (Ursus arctos). Sci Rep 10, 247 (2020). So scientists are still using "hibernation" to indicate the thing bears do, QED. Not sure if Paul will see this or not, but I'll throw my hat into the ring so that others can notice it: The fossil they are talking about in the later segment is Oksoko, a new kind of Oviraptorisaur. That is not a bird, and AiG are in error referring to it as a bird. However, their error is kind of telling, because oviraptorids (along with other dinosaurs within the group Paraves, which includes extant birds) show a number of features once thought only to belong to birds, like toothless beaks, feathers, and pygostyles actually are widespread throughout birds and their dinosaurian relatives. In fact, in the earlier days of phylogenetic classification of this group, basal members like Caudipteryx were misidentified as birds because scientists thought these traits were restricted solely to extant birds. That AiG are confused, thinking this is a bird, actually makes the scientists' point for them. They possess features in common because of common ancestry!

🤔 I am uncertain as to your point. Are you pro AiG or pro reality? There is no ‘arguable point’ to be made here because no one with an educated mind claims that birds ARE dinosaurs. @@UlexiteTVStoneLexite If their book judges me, and the followers of it don't, what do I care. It has little to no effect until followers are judgmental based on the book. You could say it's profoundly meaningful to those believing that book, but that's for them to worry about, not me. All that's particularly relevant is the behavior of those followers. @Dozo G I'm not going to dive down the rabbit hole of trying to define true Christians. And that passage has been interpreted different ways, especially if we include your very liberal paraphrasing.

@@dozog That is not an accurate portrayal of that passage. It's not saying "Don't judge", it's saying "Before you point out the flaws of others, consider your own". Jesus is all kinds of judgey.

Paul, this is very well done. You are a superlative fellow: truthful, kind, intelligent, and inquisitive. I am a big fan. I remain mystified as to how you could have spent so many years of your life believing and promoting the nonsense that you now so effectively expose as nonsense. I am so happy for you that you managed to crawl out from underneath that mountain of stifling dogma.

Oh my God that whole first segment where they are unaware of scientific consensus and presenting science accurately is SOOOOO accurate. If only Hammie could learn and accept correction so easily with evolution. I'd say Georgia too but she already knows she is lying.

I really dislike that Ken surrounds himself with paid scientists with more bias than anyone know what's good for them. This is because I have great respect for scientists and these people being this fixed with their personals views to make to data fit the conclusion. Great job Paul thank you for yet another fantastic video.

I cannot get over the fact Ken can’t get over that what he was taught in school has been updated and continued to harp on “well I’m going to call it hibernation cause that’s what I was told” to the LITERAL SCIENTISTS that are telling him he learned the wrong term and continued to talk over and interrupt them discussing why the term changed. Grandpa needs to sit down and stop talking so the actual adults can speak
