I'm sold on 303 products! I've used the Aerospace protectant for 15+ years now and living here in AZ you will not find a better UV protectant out there for your plastic, rubber, leather and dash. I've also been using the Graphene Nano Spray and the Graphene Detailer since they both came out and they will last 1 full year if you follow their directions. Super easy to apply and buff off too. All their products have been great and there's no need for the average person to have dozens of different products when these works so well and are VERY reasonably priced.

Give lithium trim serum a try. I used 303 for while but I had to keep reapplying more often. 303 works better than majority of other products though and you can buy in bulk.

@@xdrew707x Thx. There's a lot of great products out there now and once I find one that works good (especially here with our heat/UV rays) I'll stick with it. That's strange you had to keep re-applying it. I apply 2 coats of the Graphene Nano spray in December and follow up every 4-5 weeks with the Graphene Detailer and can go a year here in AZ. Even then it's still beading up and shedding water like the day I applied it. Just throwing it out there but you have to make sure you shake the bottle before every spray as it settles quickly. I've had others tell me it didn't work well for them and they weren't shaking it.
@xdrew707x

@@vtec350 I agree, 303 overall is wonderful since you can apply it on many surface. I love the the 303 on rubber, I even soak my wipers once a year and they last way longer. I use it on the soft/ gasket trims. But for the hard plastic trims I use the Lithium serum. I think it works better for me because I usually use it on 2nd hand used cars where the trims are more deteriorated and needs rejuvinating. I think 303 works better if applied earlier on to preserve the surface.

Hello from the retired CPD officer from Chicago. Nice to see JESCAR UltraLock in the video lineup. I applied it along with the Colinite 845 on my 2013 Subaru Outback with 240,000 miles in November, 2022. I had to use the DA polisher to remove in October, 2023. Today, the Outback has 267,000 miles. I’ll be applying Jescar PowerLock on one-half of my hood and UltraLock on other half; it’s time to find out if the UltraLock with ceramic is worth the extra money . Both will be topped with Colonite 845. I’ll see after this upcoming 2023 winter season if UltraLock outlasts PowerLock. Thanks for showing up at Car Supply Warehouse; I Beverly would have gone their if you weren’t making a guest appearance. Their personnel are terrific in answering questions. I’ve never understood why anyone would want water to “bead”. Products like “Bead maker” or “Quick Beads” for example fly in the face of everything I think I know about paint protection. Sure, beads look cool, but I want water to “sheet”, not “bead”. When water beads on my car after rain, when the water evaporates, I am left with hundreds of thousands of water spots from the dirt and minerals which are left behind… which I then need to remove. When the water “sheets” off, my car is almost perfectly clean after rain.
@matsudakodo
Жыл бұрын
Yep. I think it sets us up to sheet with a hose/blow dry but it's certainly not going to look great if it dries. That's been my experience with all waxes, including carnauba and synthetics.
@ohboy2592

Until they make a product that causes sheeting then the beads is the best option because it’s easy to get the water off the car. I live in Florida and I’ve never had water spotting on my outside cars and all my vehicles have either a ceramic coating or a sealant.

Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on KZitem as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 140 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sp2l36Z5Zmd0gJg So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car for my customers: RS6 Avant Performance: kzitem.info/news/bejne/rWuJt2SQgnx0nWUsi=mcQiMs9HBLlaqjGK Mercedes S 580: kzitem.info/news/bejne/t6eV2pqZsKSqiX4si=whord2_UEFSg28UW Aston Martin Vantage: kzitem.info/news/bejne/sIGdx2evk4iFpKQ Volvo XC60: kzitem.info/news/bejne/1ax6qHabp5qKeXY Tesla Model Y: kzitem.info/news/bejne/yKWe0adusYJmgY4 Porsche 911 Carrera: kzitem.info/news/bejne/k5mhz52sm3iipmk Audi Q7: kzitem.info/news/bejne/1W1-qXaJj6CarYI

I use a few of the products you were showing like Adams Graphene shampoo, Invisible Glass, Bead Maker, No Rinse but now I want to get out of my comfort zone and try something else. Ollies has been selling the Meguiar's Hybrid paint coating for $16.99 USD. They first had it at $19.99 USD then dropped it. After they had some coupons up to 15% off I purchased like 10 of them. Ollie's has become a detailer dream to try things you wanted from the big brands for cheap. Chemical guys, 303, Meguiar's, Mothers and Griot's just this year alone. @@peterbowman5750 Yep. I got the Ultimate snow foam as well for $15 and then the new seal and shine spray with carnuba in it from Turtle Wax was $5 a bottle. Along with polish and compound 32 ounce bottle for $10 a bottle from Meguiar's. I really enjoyed getting the chemical guy buckets for $5 and the grit guards for $5 but the real winner was the chemical guys towels the gold ones. That was a killer deal. So far this year the best was Chemical guys and then Meguiar's and the Turtle wax sale was ok. I am looking forward to see what they will have next. I am addicted for sure.

I look at it from another angle probably. It differs alot for different clients. I do alot of new cars and fleetcars from dealerships. So time is alot of the essence for that kind of detailing. I do stick mostly to 1 brand for this particular kind of jobs, just because it sets a timed system in place for me and employees to work with. For the normal customer I often use the same products, mixed with different brands of protectives and it's a completely different method of detailing. Mostly giving the customer a monthly maintenanceplan. Gyeon for example Inuse alot for protective products, Kenotek for interior products and they also have greatvtruckwash-shampoos. For oldtimers I mostly use Swissvax. Turle wax and Meguiars though are 2 brands I stay away from since a while, just don't like them and Meg's is also way too expensive for the job.

If it’s near the end of its lifespan and doing a decon wash doesn’t restore its properties, it’s time to recoat. If you have a five year coating and you’re a year into it and it seems to have lost its properties, do a decon wash, and that should restore its properties. If it doesn’t, something went wrong with either the product or the application.

I’d like to see a version of this where you choose a single brand that has the best overall products (for those they carry). So for example CarPro may not have all of the best, but their product may be most consistently near the top. I would guess that CarPro or Koch-Chemie would be the best single brand.

I always enjoy listening to your reviews. For me, I started using Turtle Wax Spray Flex Wax and enjoyed how easy it is to apply. I get about 4 months of protection. I also like to put that second coat on after 24 hours of applying the first coat. My Black Jeep Gladiator looks great. I'd also like to comment on the Flex part of the product. I don't like using it while either washing or a couple of sprays during the drying phase. I find on my black Jeep it leaves a lot of streaking which requires me to use a damp microfiber towel.

When you put on the second coating, do you just repeat what you did before? I’m afraid of getting streaking issues the second coating.

Carpro reset vs carpro descale. What’s the real difference? Which is best to use to unclog a coating from a Canadian winter. Looking forward to your interview with Brian on his BC line.
@PanTheOrganizer
Жыл бұрын
Reset is the regular pH7 weekly maintenance wash shampoo for ceramic coated vehicles. It helps wash the car and prevent road film accumulation. Descale is a slightly acidic pH6 shampoo and is not to be used for regular weekly washes. You would use it to remove stubborn or accumulated minerals (i.e. water spots) and accumulated road salt like in the spring, after our harsh winters. Descale is more of a "use only when needed" type shampoo. It can also help to start to break down older waxes and sealants. I love using it before a coating application. Wash the car with Descale, iron remover, clay stage if needed, machine polishing, IPA wipe, and then apply the coating. You can see how I use different pH shampoos and snow foams after my Porsche has been through winter in this video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/0IqXrHmVqWSAdKw

Great video Pan, I’m glad to see a few of my personal favorites in there like Gtechniq CSL, Invisible glass as well as Oberk Sole and 3D one. Oberk Sole is an amazing 1 step polish/compound. I’ve tried many and the top two are definitely 3D one and Oberk Sole. I like the sole a slight bit more as it isn’t as oily to wipe off. I also found that if you get it on trim it doesn’t turn the trim white which is a huge time saver. Combine it with the lake country pad washer, Orange pad and it’s an amazing one step. If it’s a softer paint that tends to get more marring I’d go for a yellow rupes pad.
