What Beetronics is doing with their pedals in the last few years is impressive. Almost a third segment after mass produced and boutique pedals. The looks, the tones, the material quality, the extra mile (like the modes changing with a double tap). I really hope they pass the longevity test and stick around delivering other masterpieces like this one.

I'm lucky that they are right up the road. Just snagged this beastie yesterday for a nice deal, and I'm paying Filipe a visit next week. If it goes well I'll be leaving a stack of bills in exchange for a new pedal or three! :)

How can a pedal look floral yet futuristic all at the same time??? The "bent" tones are inspiringly nasty - the best kind! Btw, the link to Thomann in the description isn't working (as of writing this comment)!

It's a decent versatile sounding fuzz. I'm not a fan of extreme fuzz but this one has a wide range of sounds that could be useful.

Nice one, I like fuzz pedal videos, also find them to be relaxing. Nice video, haven't heard them all, but my fave of them is the Zombee from your vids.
@TheGuitarGeek

Cool, thanks! The Zzombee is a crazy pedal. This one is a lot easier to use and the results come quicker but the Z can get fantastic results if you put the time in. Both are wonderful

Thanks for the demo of my next fuzz. :) One thing I noticed is you aren't rolling back the guitar's volume often if at all, which is imho key to getting a lot more expression from (good) 2-3 transistor fuzzes. A 4-transistor big muff just gets darker and quieter when rolling off the volume knob, but the simpler fuzzes clean up. Some sort themselves more readily than others (hello germanium), and if your guitar has 'treble bleed' onboard it's all the easier to retain brightness, but not often necessary. The fuzz gets less signal to chew on when playing high up the neck as the string is fretted and effectively made shorter, while the 'longer' and/or open strings "crap out" due to so much comparatively more side-to-side motion/energy. Splitting the difference obviously compromises both situations, so one has to set lknobs at one position and adjust volume knob at the other. TL;DR = Try setting the pedal's knobs to how you like higher up the neck around fret 12-15, and rolling back the guitar's volume knob before playing at or nearer to the nut.
