Hi there, it would be really pleasant to watch your KZitem video. But I am confused about the if, only if, if and only if part. I want to ask if I will 100% cry when I am sad during the 'If I am sad, I will cry' example? If not, how can we make sure we will 100% cry once we are sad and only when we are sad during the 'I will cry if and only if I am sad' example?

Yes to the first part. The second part means that it is also the only time that you'd ever cry

I don’t understand why if A then B it also means that B is necessary for A. how does that make sense? I just can’t wrap my head around that

sine when A is true, B will also be true, so in any case where A is true B also will be.

For the statement B is sufficient for A (and this statement is true), is it correct to say A is necessary for B?

i believe yes, and i believe you could also interchange ''B is necessary for A'' with ''A is sufficient for B''

It’s B -> A! Let’s walk through this: Imagine a statement as follows - if I ace the TMUA, then I will be happy An implication of A -> B means that: if A is true, then B also is true. In this statement, B is acing the TMUA A is being happy. Now does being happy mean that you aced the TMUA? I don’t think so. You might have won the lottery, or gotten an offer from Cambridge! But being happy does not always mean that you aced your TMUA. Hence happy does not imply acing TMUA. So A -> B is false. However, if you did ace your TMUA, you’d be happy(from the statement) Hence, ace the TMUA -> happy So, B -> A! Hope that cleared things up for you! Good luck with your exam!
