@@PostImperfectIf you like/thumbs up the video (or add it to a playlist) and then open it from your Liked Videos (or the playlist you added it to), it will open up like a regular long-form video instead of a short, and then you can click on the link from the comments. (I learned this from someone in a comments section a while back, and it's saved me a lot of extra steps of screenshotting and copying and pasting, so I hope it helps you.) The book title is Nutrient Matters: 50 Simple Whole Food Recipes and Comfort Foods, by Sara Abdul-Aziz. Searching for "Nutrient Matters cookbook" should lead you right to it.

blanching is to boil a veggie in a little water for only a small amount of time to preserve all the flavor and nutrients of the vegetables since regular boiling will get rid of most the nutrients. Someone pls correct me if I’m wrong I don’t perfectly remember the directions

Really fresh asparagus has a gentle succulent sweetness AND a lively wheatgrass complexity AND a backbone of umami that not-quite-as-fresh asparagus simply does not. And like, honestly, the differences are more delicate and subtle than, say, the night-and-day gap between nice heirloom tomatoes and standard supermarket tomatoes, but maaaan… it’s 100% worth catching it in-season if you can!!

A tip that made me love asparagus. Break off the ends by bending them, the parts that's going to be really woody and rough will snap off easily and the rest of it will be tender and have good texture. I used to gag when I'd eat them because of that awful part

It's super important how you do those veggies. I hated asparagus because it was always hard to bite and bland. Eating a well made one changed my world lol. Now I'm obsessed. Another thing with veggies is that it's good to find your starting point. Look for differently prepared vegetables, and once something hits, or is even only "okay", you can start eating it more, and get your taste buds used to eating them overall- including other dishes. Speaking as a person who nearly gagged from eating them in the past (mostly tomatoes)
