I’m an old dude who started 3D printing a few years back. Recently, I’ve began to paint more. Your knowledge has been very helpful. Thanks.

The Yellow AMMO and orange AK brushes do me just fine absolutely fantastic and long lasting cheap and get them easy I only hand paint in finer detail and chipping n scratches etc prefer brush chips now to the old sponge and masking fluid techniques it's took along time though to get a brush chipping technique just right but we'll worth sticking to it and practice the effects are just so more realistic!

You forgot to mention, light and bright color can be easily applied using airbrush without brushing a million times on brush. Like yellow, if you brush, it will take you at least 10 or more layers to totally cover a dark background item. unlike with air brush, it will only take 2-3 layers.

True! I'm sure there are million things I could've touched on but I just wanted to get the basic essentials of it. Maybe down the road I will go more in depth on some things.

Mr surfacers are great for airbrushing and filling in the support marks lefts sometimes when the supports are not on a break point! You know when the ball of the tip is set inside your model instead of on the outside so can be sanded off smooth without this round tip dint!

Love your videos! Very down to earth. I just started painting after about 40 years. It's a whole different ball game. The acrylic paints have really been difficult to master compared to oils. I only have one question, where do you get these fantastic large scale models. The standard 28 and 32 mm just doesn't work for me. I've been looking online and can't seem to find anything like what you're painting. Keep up the great videos, because I need all the help that I can find. Thanks, James (Bud) Parks

Thanks! I usually get the models from a patreon or direct from the artists. Check out Wicked 3D on Facebook. That's where I get most of them from.

Are your paints in nail polish holders? If so that's a great idea because they cost half as much as the Vallejo paint holders on Amazon.
@TheCreativeCollector

Yes they are! These holders were only $15 each on Amazon. The others are like double the cost.

I've only got one good print from it. It's been more of a pain than any other printer I've used. The customer service is horrible an I'll never own another Anycubic product. If I have to get another printer, I'll shop around.
