Tania Abou Ltaif humorously explores what it means to be a Druze woman, she discusses how she reconciles her religion with her liberal values and feminism. Tania is Lebanese-Venezuelan-Panamanian... No wonder why she receives so many questions from many confused individuals! Being a student in the Menton campus of Sciences Po, she is interested in exploring different narratives of the Near- and Middle East and the study of Women Rights and Gender Equality. Tania has always believed in the power of communication and in interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds to generate global awareness. This has inspired her to discuss her own experience in her unique upbringing in the Druze community with her usual infectious smile and positivity. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
