@@Mangorille I bought this pack : shop.iflight-rc.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25&product_id=1495 So I have the remote control and the drone and I don't have to do any wiring. Now, I would like to be able to fly my drone but for it, my IF8 remote control must be connected to the A75 drone. So I would like to know the method how to pair them together. There is no manual that shows how to do this.

Nice review, looks like an awesome little whoop. I have been flying the A85 variant for a couple of months now. It's really fun to fly around the house, especially during these cold, winter months. That extra space at the top of the canopy is a good place to fit a TX if you are running something other than a DJI sbus setup. Enjoy your your new drone, just be careful with all the fragile objects around the house 😂

I suspect the A85 is a more balanced quad in terms of power to weight but I do like the smaller size of the A75 for indoor flight. That makes perfect sense, I've been using the DJI transmitter from the beginning and did not even consider that! FYI - The quad comes setup with regular SBUS and not the DJI HDL but that just took a quick sbus_baud_fast=ON command in the CLI and a quick setting update in the goggles.

@@Mangorille No doubt, A85 flies great, but the A75 makes more sense for indoor. When I bought mine, the 75 wasn't an option. I do like the fact that the 85 flies nicely outdoors as well, I love doing proximity flying at the playground 😁 I fly using the DJI radio transmitter as well, as it just made sense to me when getting into the hobby last summer. Thanks for the tip, and I'm aware of the fast baud setting, got it set up on all my quads 👍

The a85 canopy fits the size of the quad a little better to me. I am interested in how the flight times compare. I have a Taycan that flys 7 to 8 minutes on a 6s but it is really loud for the neighborhood. I would love something quieter that will cruise for 5 minutes.
@michaelc5027

@@fpvpilot7713 I own a Taycan c25, and the A85 is nowhere near as loud as the Taycan. If you fly it outdoors, the noise level is minimal. You can run anything from a 450mAh 4S to 650mAh 4S, and can definitely get 4 to 5 minutes of flight time (I have 450, 550, and 650 packs). I prefer to sacrifice a little bit of flight time for the lighter 450mAh battery though, as the weight of that pack feels perfect on the tiny quad. Also, I recommend the GNB packs.

I build me one of the iFlight A75HD, but face a very frustrating problem and don't understand what's the problem. I build it myself same as from iFlight, with all the parts they listed. 8000kv 1103 Xing-E motors. The SucceX-D 20A V3 Whoop AIO Board, caddax Vista nano and the Gemfan 1635-3 props and 3S 450mAh iflight batteries.... the factory tunes applied. I barely get like 1min of flight time and the battery and motors getting crazy hot for any reason.... i thought this build should get at least 4~6min flight time. It bugs me if i possible had did something wrong...
@Mangorille
3 жыл бұрын
Your parts list looks good. If the motors are getting super hot then your PIDs are probably too high. Try resetting to the default PIDs and tune from there. Don't use the PIDs from iFlight.

@@Mangorille thanks for the tip, I'm not so skilled yet for tuning an quat😅 just start barely how to walk😝 I think I will try best the PID settings from your video to begin with, add the Bidirectional rpm filtering aswell. I saw from the video, they did not solder the 470yF capacitor(what is included in the SucceX-D F4 v3 boards kit) to the battery leads, is that right? Maybe only nessasary for bigger motors?
@Mangorille
3 жыл бұрын
@@HK-Legence Mine doesn't have the extra capacitor either so that shouldn't be it. You can try the default PIDs to start and then just as a test go ahead and pull the Master Slider down to 0.7. It may fly really bad but right now you want to see if that resolves the motor temperature and low flight times. Check the filter tab as well to make sure you are on the default filters.

@@HK-Legence Perfect, those are around the same flight times I get with mine. You can try a bit lower P gains from what you saw in the video and see if yours flies better that way.
