One of the best things about flying is being able to go anywhere, anytime, and on any budget. We fly 5 hours each way through rain, low clouds, fog, and terrain warnings to watch the Red Bull Air Race in Indianapolis and still make it home in time for class the next day. Come along and enjoy the ride!
Where I get all my MUSIC -- goo.gl/D3h3fC
We shot an instrument approach on every landing, once even right down to minimums; spent hours in IMC; and took off at night in fog in the mountains -- and got a terrain warning at about 100 feet in the clouds (though we had followed the obstacle departure procedure to a T).

Air racing is the fastest motor sport on earth, and super exciting. It's basically my dream job. And there's no better way to travel to an event like that than with your own plane -- then the adventures along the way are just as fun as the destination itself.
We flew from Lawrence, MA (KLWM) to Hudson, NY (1B1) (RNAV (GPS) RWY 21) to Eagle Creek Airpark in Indianapolis, IN (KEYE) (RNAV (GPS) RWY 21) Saturday morning, then flew to Towanda, Pennsylvania (N27) (RNAV (GPS) RWY 23) for fuel and a quick dinner before landing back at Lawrence (ILS Z RWY 5) late Sunday night. We could have done the whole thing non-stop, but the fuel was much cheaper this way.

I've been flying since I was 16 and at age 19 flew around the world by myself in the same 1981 A36 Beechcraft Bonanza I still fly, becoming the youngest person ever to solo circumnavigate by aircraft.
Now, I'm sharing all kinds of aviation adventures with YOU! Ride along as we explore the world from the air and get a close up look at some of aviation's best flight experiences and destinations.
