You know what I have noticed …. Other than the clueless tourists … is that these horses, 90% of the time, are very gentle with children. They can be nipping at the adults, but a small child can walk by or stand in front of the horses…said horses will not nip at them. Now I’m not saying you should just let your children stand in front of any horse, no matter how well trained … but sometimes, it’s like these horses just KNOW. God bless the guard.💂💗

What is wrong with people? I don't believe for one second that they don't understand the sign telling them not to touch the reins. These tourists act like they have NEVER seen a horse before. Maybe, I am unaware of THAT possibility. I grew up with horses. My father loved horses, and he bought an Arabian/American Saddle horse and a Welsh pony, when we were little. Then he got my brothers and I English riding lessons He rescued Thoroughbred horses off of the racetrack. We (with our horse trainers and riding instructors) trained them to jump, showed them, and my father found them good homes, homes that would value their trained abilities, and, therefore, take care of them. Then he moved our horses from a stable in Napa, California, to a stable, that he had built on his land closer to our home. Therefore, I was lucky to have had all of that as an experience in my life, early on. I need to remind myself that not everyone has been around horses, when I view these videos, and then not be so critical of the behavior of the tourists. STILL there IS common sense behavior that should NOT "go out the window," when experiencing new people, new animals, new places, and, possibly, new cultures.
