Honestly, in million subscriber channels, I don’t think half of the community actually watched it anymore. I think they’re just forgotten subs on the channel. But because they’re million subscription channels, they can have far easier times getting into the recommendation sections, thus they’re watched massively by people who aren’t subscribed, and hence why they ether get videos with several million views, or videos with only a couple hundred thousand, as that video didn’t win the recommendation lottery. Thus, losing those 100k+ subscribers is a much more massive damage than Blair thinks. In times when the recommendation lottery fails to give her video attention, those subscribers were active subscribers (would have to be to have heard this problem) and would have sustained her for the next video. Now they aren’t coming anymore. They’re pissed, and although some are giving ‘ghost clicks’ (clicking the video to leave a comment straight at illuminaughti, instead of watching) that fad will die off soon enough, especially since she makes no effort to give an apology or make amends, or even stroke the fire. So instead of a couple hundred thousand views on videos that didn’t win KZitem’s algorithm, she’ll probably have less than 50k views (as even her die hard fans will get sick of this and ‘take a break’, and anything is more interesting than Blair the Bitch, so they’ll forget her easy.)

I don't see the problem with speculating and discussing potentially harmful symptoms. Being aware of the signs of mental health disorders is important, especially when they can lead to harmful relationships. You might as well demonize free psych questionnaires/tests too. They are certainly less reliable than seeing a professional, and can be detrimental in some cases. But they are also an easily accessible gateway to a path of mental well-being, in a society that has hurdles to jump over to seek such a path. It's also hypocritical to dismiss someone for not being a professional or personally knowing the person in question. You're doing the same thing you're criticizing them for, and potentially invalidating their experience. They could be in a position of knowledge, whether through professional or personal experience. If it's through personal experience, you could be invalidating their own trauma. Regardless though, they are not obligated to prove themselves to strangers on the internet over an opinion; an opinion that is not expressed with certainty or implied authority. TL;DR: You're invalidating the opinion of someone you don't know, over their speculations about a person we DO have knowledge of. And that's harmful for mental health and the awareness of it. Instead, you should focus on tackling the demonization of such disorders. And no, trying to silence the discussion is not the same as making sure the discussion is civil and reasonable.

@@bn444 for starters a psychiatrist wouldn't be diagnosing people online unless they only have two braincells to rub together. Yup, I have a very good dog but during a particularly bad cold snap my fence, shrunk by the cold, separated just enough to allow the gate to swing open without operating the latch. Someone brought him back to me in a car while I was doing dishes. Had no idea the gate was open at all since I'm very careful to close it. Fixed that gate real quick after that.

My childhood dog was a border collie and that made him really smart and because of that no matter what we did. He would always somehow find a way to get out of the house but he always came back before his dinner time. Later on I learned that apparently dogs will always know their way home but it can still be a worrying experience having your dog run away, especially in countries like the USA where everyone has a gun and some people just don't like dogs and can justify shooting them by saying it was threatening me or something like that. We are lucky or not to not be in America so all we had to worry about without getting hit by a car but he also knew how to look both waste before crossing the road and not cross if there was a car coming.

Here’s a correction on the silent hill analogy you used at the end. Pyramid head is a manifestation of a combination ofJames Sunderland’s innermost flaws and sins, although now a days they’re simply a manifestation of punishment and suffering. They aren’t a cannibal so they and Blair are different and that sense, yet both of them share a theme of domestic abuse as one of the biggest symbolic elements of pyramid head in the original game was abusing member’s of the opposite gender. Over all, I’d say Blaire and Pyramid Head share even more in common than what you mentioned and thus she is a talentless freak with no originality
@beardiemom

I mean, Pyramid Head is more of a silent executioner and a manifestation of James' guilt over what happened to his wife than a soul sucking canibal, so actually closer to the role Oz played before he cut ties. Blaire is.... so much worse.

I always had that shower thought about how callout channels are likely horrible people behind closed doors, and in being similar to the people they farm views off of they themselves know what specifically to highlight and attack when they make their hitpieces, which in turn makes it appeal more to their target audience and gives their content the traction to cancel people. Not to devalue any of the valid accusations and criticisms they may have made throughout their careers, but we've seen prominent members like Jake Tran, Chet Goldstein and a plethora of other niche commentary/drama channels who turned out just like Blair.

If she was really on the level she'd have done this in broad daylight, with plenty of chances to let him get his shit out of there (though imo this is obviously violating every part of the 'contract' she set up with him). Yeah for her to force a $600 a month car payment on a 19-year-old person making 50k a year ... Like all he needed was to maybe borrow a company car for a few weeks until he started getting paychecks. Or maybe help financing a five or a $10,000 car at most.. Why did she insist on such an expensive luxurious item? To increase his dependency on her? What an amazing source of leverage, if he decides to leave he has to find a way to either continue to pay her $600 a month in perpetuity, or a lump sum for depreciation. Unbelievably exploitive car loan. I mean even for someone making $150k a year that would have been an extravagant decision. Let alone a guy making 50k that hadn't even been with the company a month.

Formal discipline means paperwork showing what the problem was and that the problem was discussed with the employee, with a corrective action plan. If Blair really had a "strict" policy about FORMAL discipline, then she would have paperwork showing what he was disciplined for, when it was discussed with the employee, and what actions you come up with together to correct the behavior. I used to watch Blair back in the day and I did really like her content. It was easy to put on in the background and listen to it as a more surface level take on a subject. But I stopped watching actively or being subbed to her after a while and it was because of the Cruel World Happy Mind thing as well as her actions on her previous endeavors with friends even before Sadmilk. It's dissappointing it happened at all (all of this, her harrassment of people who thought she was a friend etc) but it still endlessly amuses me that this whole thing only blew up in her face because she decided to falsely call out the channel of a lawyer specialized in intellectual property over the use of a bog standard editing technique that's been used in many different contexts, thinking she owned the editing style.

I've lost all respect for iiluminaughtii as a person. I hate that I once looked at her "exposed" video as "addressing all of the drama against her." The shit she put the members of SadMilk through, especially Click and Wonder, is disgusting. In my opinion, the only way she can claim even one iota of respect from me again is if she gives Wonder all of his stuff back. Every single item. I don't know if her throwing his stuff away was just word-of-mouth or if she actually did throw his stuff away. Either way, I don't care if she has to swim through garbage, giving Wonder back all of his possessions is the ONLY way I can give even a crumb of respect towards Blaire again. Also, I love how she scorns Wonder for taking pictures of her messy ass house when it was Oz who actually took the pictures.
