I am just really impressed that no screws were harmed or stripped during the making of this video...

stability is the most important aspect to review yet only 11 secs and you just a made it go up. Very sponsored

I literally sat on the desk lol and mentioned stability throughout. Between shaking the desk, the water test, sitting on it, etc. Go buy both desks and see for yourself. I don't care which one you buy, I don't make any money from that.

@@swashin I believe the whole point of a review is so viewers can avoid having to buy 2 of the same product to compare.

I think it's really unfair to compare sales price vs actual price. The FlexiSpot stuff isn't normally $150 off. So in reality, it's not cheaper than the Ikea one at all, it's a lot more expensive

Still cheaper if you compare with the same tops, as I mentioned in the video! So yeah, Flexispot is cheaper, even not on sale.

@@swashin no, it`s not... you didn`t select the desktop of the same size, you selected the smallest one... If you take a look at your viceo when you are showing bamboo pricing with accurate size it clearly says that bamboo is +130 and chipboard is +80, if you take the 799$ price of bamboo and decrease 50, you get 749, which is over 100 more than Ikea. You seriously think we are as stupid as you are fat?

I own IKEA bekant and while it looks nice, too many things sucks about it. Once the motors decides to softlock, you’re gonna be stuck at whatever height it is in, or spend 1 hour of disassembly the motors and manually readjust the legs and height. Sounds like fun right. The reset combination do nothing, and IKEA support will only provide you with a new set of cables, controller and adapter if you complain, so you’re stuck with a not working table. Also, the table is very wobbly, but that’s fine imo. I had enough of motor operated tables after that and switched over to a table with a crank handle instead lmao.

Ikeas desk can lift up to 54kg. That's plenty and would hold even complex setups easily. Also, under normal use you would never need to sit on it while adjusting height. Why is that even a test? 🙄

Hello , do you know what is the original height of the bekant desk before changing it?

I dont understand the pricing. In the Uk flexispot is about £550 but the Bekant is £370.

I'm no professional desk testing influencer, but I'm pretty sure those measly electric motors are not meant to lift full sized/plus-sized human beings to max height. Do not try this at home kids if you value your money or motorized desktops :P

He was purely just showcasing the more powerful motor on the Flexispot. Ikea couldn’t lift him, Flexispot could. So you could put more onto a Flexispot desk and it will still work. If Swashin is under the max weight load for the Flexispot, why shouldn’t it be able to lift him? I think the test speaks volumes, especially as I’ll be putting a PC, multiple consoles, 2 large studio monitors and more on my desk.

No it doesn't, but he hates that feature anyway. Not sure why.
