Thank you, brother. Exactly what I wasn’t sure about. Saved me a lot of time! Ikea’s manual didn’t show me that part.

@@diversity2739 RIght? It was a new housemate that moved in today and they got the bed frame second hand on the way to my house :) I think the previous owners had left some second had parts from other Ikea furnishings in the bag :) But yeah... it was pretty harrowing, until he told me it wasn't straight out of the box :D I was like... what? You had the same frame and you didn't have any of those parts in your kit/ used in your build :) Or maybe Ikea just trolls people :) Thanks for the video - I was pretty sure I wasn't crazy after watching it 😂😂😂

Hi, you will need to contact Ikea, about replacement hardware, for that bed. I would use aluminum drywall studs to design any of the parts that may be missing. you will be surprised to find what you need, at the hardware. to hack the job.

Thinking of getting a bed frame from ikea. Few questions tho. I’ve never had a proper bed frame are the wooden slots sturdy? I feel like if someone jumps on it it would brake. And dose it squeak also is it holding up all right? It’s been a few years like is it still good

Hi, l did this a friend, this is not something l would buy for myself, l like the idea of moving furniture around quickly, the mattress is really thick, the wooden slots seem to carry the mattress well, didn't notice a squeaky sound.

@@absolutecrudandco9321 you can use a different type of clip, some times l would go to the hardware and find a better festner to attach to the wood.

if you mean the lace connecting the wood, it sets on top of the beams with the round rubber inserts, you will need to insert them into the beams and space the wood on them as you pull the whole section across, once you get both sections on side by side, they will not fall,

If the slates keep falling off use Velcro from Staples to keep the slates in place. I have this bed in queen size it's annoying that they fall off. here's the link to the video with the Velcro assembly kzitem.info/news/bejne/jp54snmZoJyLh44

Pathetic bed frame design by Ikea. It's a pain every time and the quality of the bed frame is pretty bad
