It is the most favourite fish among bengalis....they eat Ilish Bhaja,Ilish Bhapa,Ilish er begun diye jhol....but among all,Ilish Paturi is the most delicious and most rated dish among Bengalis. ilish Macher Paturi combines three of Bengali's greatest love----the Hilsa Fish,the Banana Plant, and Mustard oil.It is a Fairly easy recipe to execute.It requires very simple ingredients but tastes heavenly once served with hot , steamed rice.
