Definitely one of the better of the "kid rap" groups. Jamal continued to be nice after this too. Great beats here; that last one by Biz and Cool V offers further proof that they were way underrated beatmakers.

This album had the best production for a child group...the yungstas were the most consistent, mobb deep had the best career, and illegal had the best ghostwriters...and if you really love hiphop you'll be 💯progressive. The 90's was awesome, but today's hiphop is 🔥too.

@Jadlotian
7 жыл бұрын
Perverted Alchemist here’s my theory: at that time I believe ghost didn’t get proper credits. Hence the title ghostwriter. What I do know for fact is that Jamal had more writing credits on the album than Malik(who rhymes on each song, but on some songs gets no credits) and each producer got writing credits(could be for the beats and rhymes). They were kids, and without the production.... they would have flopped. Come on hiphop community, look at the history objectively🤔 they were a mesh up of treach nd Reggie and I believe treach may have wrote Malik shit. Look at him after illegal

I like the album but I can’t tell if the mixes or mastering was bad. It’s either that or the producers didn’t make them speak clearly. Maybe it was their kid voices. I don’t know. I play this in the ride and can barely understand them. You can hear Erick Sermon, Diamond D and Lord Finesse’s verses perfectly.
